This is one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. The sushi burritos are such a clever way to get tons of fresh proteins and vegetables into a handy wrap-style food item (rice bowls and salad greens also available). The serving size here is enough that I walk away hungry without feeling overstuffed, but I appreciate the addition of add-ons such as a spam musubi (the only place around this area of Atlanta that seems to have these!), mango haupia desserts, Hawaiian potato chips, and miso soup.
A few things I love about this place - all entrees are made to order, and the servers are always amicable about adjustments like asking for a wee bit more wasabi or polite asks like "Just a little more sesame seeds, please." The sauces here are excellent (my go to is the Sriracha aioli), and they automatically prepare an extra 1-oz container of extra sauce in anticipation of those who might need just a tad more.
The service has always been timely and I've never wanted for seating while dining in. It seems like there's a frequent turnover of help, so there were times when I had to step in with instructions of amounts (like the time a young woman nearly added a glop of wasabi onto my burrito), but everyone has always been eager to rectify any errors and/or bring in other team members to help with...
Read moreUpdated review: a hearty 4.5 stars after revisiting! The manager was quick to personally reach out after my first negative experience and did a wonderful job at hearing me out and offering a solution. The next time I visited, I ordered inside and had great service. Interestingly, I was given much more compared to my first time despite ordering the same regular size. Like last time, the interior is cozy & kept clean, and protein is flavorful. For the price point, this is a great poke option for the area.

Original review: I ordered for takeout, and my order was completely wrong. As in, not close beside the protein and white rice base - and cucumbers were randomly added. Absolutely not worth what I paid for ($15), and I'm really bummed because I was excited to try this place for the first time. Even if they were out of the mix-ins (which they were not), a simple heads up would have been fantastic about what to actually expect when I opened the stapled bag and this was immediate what I saw.
The portion size is decent (albeit the volume is mainly rice) with the fish tasting fresh, and interior cozy & clean, so this would have been rated higher if my experience was different.

Read moreThis is so disappointing. I ordered for the first time postpartum excited to eat poke again. My husband brought the online pick up order home and both our bowls were wrong. His proteins were on my bowl and mine were on his. Both bowls had brown rice and we ordered white. We called to see if anything could be done. We were told they are now closed for the night (fair it was now 9pm) but that they can’t issue refunds, that other customers have had this issue and no refunds were issued to them either. We were also told they were out of a lot of items so they just substituted the best they could but there was no mention of this at pick up or a call to ask if they could substitute items. What if we were allergic to something and you just haphazardly put items in because you think it’ll work instead? There also was no avocado on my bowl which I paid extra for. When we asked if we could speak with a manager the guy said the manager is never at the store so they can’t help. We said we’d come in tomorrow to see if anything could be done since there was clearly not going to be a resolution tonight with them closed. Then they decided they’d take down our info and give it to the manager. $40 of food...
