2021 First time stopping in at The oil bar and I can't express how amazing this place is! I plan on going back forever. Lol. I got shea butter infused with to scents. Having the ability to customize your products is so cool! I recommend to any and everyone. The young lady that helped me was so knowledgeable and kind. Skin care, hair care, home fragrance. They have it all. 2025 The customer service has gone down Hill so much. Shopping here used to be an experience and a pleasant one at that. Idk what happened since they left Southlake it's just bad service. They don't look happy to be there, they don't engage, they don't do anything and more often than not they have an attitude. They one with the locs never speaks. Ever. There is one I can tolerate. Every other person is drab. Mid is an understatement. When I find a place to replace the oil bar, I will not be returning. I would rather spend my money with people who look happy to have my business.

The Oil Bar truly gets it right every time! From the packaging to the quality of the scents, everything feels thoughtful and luxurious. The fragrance oils and shea butters smell incredible and last all day without being overpowering. I love that I can enjoy my favorite designer scents at a fraction of the cost and the experience always feels personal and elevated. Highly recommend!

disappointing to say the least, not sure who they’ve done wrong in the past but karma is unraveling this place day by day. i’ve noticed the absolute best people who worked there no longer there, the quality of the product is disintegrating by the batch, and not to mention care for customers and the store; it’s intertwined & again very disappointing for a “black owned” company

I had such a horrible experience at the shop recently. This was a surprise experience as I was visiting Atlanta. I arrived at least 20 minutes before closing.

One person was working helping a customer. He greeted me when I came in with a hello. I browsed around as he took care of a customer. I was enjoying the products, and the smells and was excited to purchase.

My friend came in as this was one of her favorite spots and she wanted to share with me.

The associate of the store was jovial with the customers and talked about everything under the sun. I didn't mind I was absorbed in the choices.

When he got to us his demeanor changed. He had no energy. Barely wanted to show us oil choices. It was a chore for him to even open his mouth. He announced he was closing in 5 mins and couldn't make any butters. My mouth hit the floor.

My friend knew this was a treat for me and she said well can you make her order since she is not from here. He reluctantly said yes. In the meantime, another customer came in. He picked up one item. The associate said let me ring him up. Turned and walked away

At that point, I said no. I am not spending my money and the customer service was horrid. I was prepared to make a substantial purchase and of course, tip him for his service. But no way I was doing that now!!!

I understand he had a long day but that was no excuse for his behavior or attitude.

The experience of your brand is more than your product it includes the service as well.

Sharing with the hopes this will help create change for your operation.

I tried to call and that attempt was a...

My husband and I went in and the customer service experience was so dry.!!!! I am very friendly and always try to engage with workers so they can see how easy I’ll be to assist! Nobody wants to help someone who is rude, so I always go above and beyond to truly be friendly. My husband and I said thank you multiple times and he said nothing…like that’s just common courtesy…no smile, no excitement to help us at all! I felt bad for asking to smell scents. His body language said it all... he did not want to get the fragrances. He made some nice suggestions for combinations which I did end up going with. Unfortunately when it came to my husband he just threw combinations at him and when my husband said he didn’t care for it he said he was just throwing stuff together, he didn’t even know the fragrance he selected. He made comments about me asking for an extra scent boost..like “you know that’s extra right?” That’s not how you say that to someone. I have been a long customer and have been familiar with a lot of their scents. I wanted to try something different which is why I came in store. Never again! I’ll drive to an alternate location or stick to what I know. I hope maybe some counseling about customer service can be done. I know everyone isn’t super bubbly however this needs to change to maintain the image of...

I have always loved the oil bar! I used to go often when they were in Cumberland and Arbor place. This was my first time going to their new location and no complaints there but the store associate that was there alone is the reason for this negative review. I don't go out of my way to write a negative review, I usually just shrug it off and give the person grace thinking maybe they've had a rough day.. but after reading the other recent reviews about the same dry, rude, completely unprofessional young man working there.. I decided to give my review in hopes that a change is implemented. He seemed completely annoyed as soon as soon as I walked in and made it very evident that he did not want to do his job. I was very nice and ignored his attitude and just asked very few basic questions since the oils were behind the counter (which wasn't the case in the past locations and I hope they go back in the middle of the store), but the fact that the oils were behind the counter I HAD to interact with him (unfortunately for the both of us) I was interested in buying more products but I just grabbed what I needed and left because I did not feel welcomed at all and just wanted to get out of there. It's so unfortunate that one rude store associate can ruin the whole experience...
