My experience on 9/16/16 was unbelievable. Dr.F the lady doctor was so rude and unprofessional behavior to my handicap husband. First of all the office is not handicap accessible from the start. My son both had appointment's schedule 15 minutes apart because my husband is unable to stand alone by himself. So I had my son to lift him in the exam chair to assist the doctor however, after my son and I left the room to pick out his glasses the doctor suddenly appeared and told me that I need to reschedule my appointment for another day because my husband had ask for the trash can because he felt like he had to throw up. She told me she didn't have time to wait for him because she had other patients to wait on. I told no problem I don't want him to be a burden on her, she told me find and walk away from me into another room however, she didn't not bother to come back into the room with my son and I to see if my husband was okay. She had left him in the chair by himself . I found out later from my husband that he had told her that he had not been to long gotten home from his dialysis treatment and sometimes he gets nausea and my feel like he have to vomit however, this time he didn't however, that when she told she going to get my son or I. The other two staff ladies was remarkable woman and nice to my husband. I told the Pearl Vision staff that I will not be coming back if she is there. They apologize for her and book with the doctor that I had seen back in June. My husband kept asking me what did he do wrong and I said nothing it is our society that has the property sick people no patients what so ever. I thank God for my husband and son. It took a while to settled my husband down he blames himself and I said no you are not it is stupidity. I still don't think I will be going back to this office again...
Read moreDr. Bond and his staff have taken care of my eyes for 20 years. Both of my children go there and I have referred many, many people to him. Dr. Bond will always be my eye care provider. He helped me with my lasik surgery 20 years ago, may even be longer and has always offered the best care. He is kind and he really does care about the health of your eyes. If you read a review on here that has given him less than 5 stars, I'd really look at that review before I would make a decision NOT to see him based on one experience. He is a great doctor, the hours are super convenient and having someone on staff that can make your glasses or fix them while you wait, if they can, is a big time saver for anyone. I'm going to comment on the customer service side, the ladies are amazing! People will treat you like you treat them. If you go in rushing around, not prepared, trying to get something for nothing, beat the year end deadline for your insurance, being rude yourself, guess what? You are not going to be treated very pleasantly. I have waited for glasses or my appointment and watched and heard people call in or walk in and they are so rude to the staff as if the staff owes them something. 2 or 3 staff members, one on a call, one helping a customer check in and the doctor with a patient and people will just walk up, interrupt and when they are politely asked to wait or hold on, they become obnoxious and rude, pushy and demanding and then they complain about the service or the staff. This is a family owned business and their staff is like their family. You won't find a doctor who cares for your eyes more than Dr. Bond...
Read moreThis has been the most frustrating and enraging eyecare experience of my life. My glasses were out right wrong twice, once because the order was processed incorrectly, and the second time the lenses were cut incorrectly. I now have a refund check that does not match with my vision insurance says I should’ve been refunded. I need new lenses but cannot get them until this is settled correctly. I cannot use my vision benefits elsewhere until this matter is solved correctly. If you have problems like this on the first try, save yourself the pain and suffering I have experienced and go somewhere else.
Edit: When Pembroke Eyecare processed my refunded, they subtracted copays instead of adding them. Go elsewhere. This place goes too fast and they do not listen well enough. My husbands glasses were supposed to cost us $40 out of pocket but somehow we paid $400+ for two pair of glasses and were refunded less than $200. There’s no way that’s right. Save yourself the hassle.
UPDATE: I finally got my itemized invoice! Dr Bond chose to share that via Google Maps Reviews k stead of mailing it directly to me as I had requested when I requested a refund. I now feel that I can accept this refund and never return to an eye doctor in a mall. I am particular about my glasses for other medical reasons, but not as much as he suggests. I’ve never had an experience like this anywhere. I hope there is...
