Zeiders American Dream Theater — Attraction in Virginia Beach

Attended an event here. It is smallish auditorium with a stage up front and comfortable stadium style seating that creates an intimate atmosphere. Located in Virginia Beach Town Center, it was difficult for us to find. Even with GPS we went in circles for a while before parking the car and hoping we would find someone to give us direction! The building has a giant Z on one side but the issue was not being able to see an entrance while driving. Even walking, it was hard to see! We finally found a poorly marked door leading to an elevator to the second floor entrance of the theater. It was only then we realized the large stairs we passed on the sidewalk lead right to the theater! Good to know! They need some signage because if you're a first...

Wonderful facility with great acoustics. Very interesting, entertaining and unusual pianist 1/18. Educational. We grabbed a schedule of future events on the way out. We'll be going back. Wide variety of offerings. Non-profit facility.

It's nice to have a culturally progressive venue, in a cozy comfortable facility as an alternative to the mainstream entertainment at the larger Centers. Zeiders reminds me of my experience in Ashland, Oregon during their Shakespeare In The Park festival.

In short, Zeiders is small, intimate, and comfortable offering a wide variety of new and different artists as well as other entertainment at a reasonable price that you likely won't get anywhere else in Hampton Roads... at least not...

Zeiders Theater is a really nice and quiet place..perfect for enjoying a show without distractions. The atmosphere is welcoming and the venue itself feels well kept.

The only downside I observed is the seating system. Since it’s first-come, first-served, it can be a hassle if you arrive a little late, especially if you’re with a big group and want to sit together. I think it would be so much better if seats were assigned at the time of ticket purchase, like in a cinema, or at least offered as a pre-assigned option. Overall, it’s a great theater, but I do hope they consider updating their seating process...
