I’ve gone to a bunch of random fitness studios in the area and I am confident that TruFusion is literally the best one! I joined because they had a special going on for $30 for unlimited month of classes which ended up making me sign up as a member! The front desk is always so nice, especially Chris- She is always so sweet and excited to check people in! I also love how there’s such a variety of people here from all sorts of cultural backgrounds and ages. Also was surprised how many other men go here!
I really like the instructors here and some of the classes offered. They are very challenging- sometimes I feel like I can barely make it through but the instructors keep you motivated to continue!!! Working out in 95 degrees is tough work but if you’re looking for a challenge, you can make it through! A good ol can of celicus right before will do wonders LOL. I like how they have themed events to keep us interested like ‘Down and Dirty’ which was literally hilarious..you’ll just have to go to find out. I also like how I can feel comfortable being absolutely not athletic and not being judged for it. We’re all looking at eachother huffing and puffing and in the same boat, no judgement to not being able to keep up with one another.
My favorite classes are kettlebooty, Barre, Boot Camp, and Pilates during the evening, Shoutout to Desirae (Dezzy) who is always so fun, Rachel who leads the boot camp on Wednesday nights who is also hilarious, and Lindsay the Barre instructor- Lindsay is so good at what she does, I’d highly recommend a class with her. Her Barre class is killer workout and she has so much passion and high energy to lead them.
My only feedback (which is hard to do cause they’re already great as is) is to add a yoga mat cleaning station to wipe down your mat after class and maybe more unheated pilates classes…maybe more night classes as I now get off work at 6:30pm sometimes. I would also love to see them have an upper body work out class focus! I could see it now..called ‘TruPump’, where it’s all upper body focused and heavy chest press/upper body focused weights. If y’all take this idea i’ll need...
Read moreAs of Tue Apr 16 2024, I visited TruFusion Walnut Creek Yoga Studio and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. It is with deep regret that I must express my concerns regarding the discriminatory behavior observed during my time there.
The atmosphere at TruFusion was tainted with racism, particularly evident in the actions of the front desk staff and manager, Dani. Their behavior exhibited clear bias towards individuals who are not white. As a person of color, I felt unwelcome and judged from the moment I entered the studio.
It is disheartening to witness such blatant discrimination in a place that should promote inclusivity and acceptance. I strongly advise individuals belonging to minority communities to avoid this studio. There are numerous other yoga studios in the area that prioritize diversity and create a welcoming environment for all.
Based on my personal experience, I would never recommend TruFusion Walnut Creek Yoga Studio to anyone seeking a safe and inclusive space for their practice. It is essential to choose establishments that celebrate diversity and foster a sense of belonging for all individuals. TruFusion falls short of meeting these fundamental expectations, and I urge potential visitors to consider alternative studios that embrace and respect...
Read moreJust want to start off and say the classes and instructors were GREAT. Upon my first free class I decided to do the 30 for 30, the woman in the front desk swiped my card twice due to the fact that my card “didn’t go through” the first time. Come to find out I was charged twice and called back and the woman upfront seemed to be nonchalant and said it didn’t show up on their end. I then called my bank to file a dispute and I get an email from Kate (who by the way responds ONCE A DAY via email and is never there when I call the location) and she states I can’t attend classes until that dispute is resolved when I was charged twice LOL. I sent over the proof it being charged twice again due to their employees mistake. I’m yet again told they can’t let me take classes since I haven’t paid when I did pay. It’s bizarre how much I enjoyed the classes but can see that management is money hungry even with proof. Definitely think twice before signing up or make sure they don’t run your card twice because they’ll blame it on you and not the employee. Do better...
