Disgraceful service at this station.
No air conditioning in Dupont Circle station FOR YEARS. Station dirty and full of mold spores. Blame game on maintenance matters from Management (so hard to resolve problems!) and it is 94 degrees on the platform EVERY day. Could install temporary air conditioning, but apparently Metro does not want to spend the money.
Station Managers and staff could care less about problem, as their work locations have private air conditioning. So no attempt to reach out/attempt to help passengers - too hot to go out into station to assist passengers.
Problem: Employee Union CONSTANTLY reinforces: you, Metro employee, show up for work and you are ENTITLED to pay and any overtime and generous benefits. NO NEED to provide any services to customers.
