The associate here are unprofessional and have no basic transfer account knowledge. As today I went there to transfer my H20 wireless account to an existing AT&T family plan. The staff worked there have 0 knowledge of how to do that, and they tried to fill some form which even ask me my company name and SSN? This is stupid and ridiculous, and it was my first time ever to hear I need these two fields to finish the application. Think about people unemployed and people without SSN. They can't be an AT&T customer? This stupidity from the employee is fully covered this store. So anyway, I gave them the info, and after about 20mins they tried, they failed. They told me I have to call both H2O and AT&T to get it transferred. This is just stupid. Then why you guys working here? To get paid for all of you playing your cellphone during the day while have no knowledge of doing you job? I basically told one guy I did this a couple years ago, and he was like he did this everyday. I meant you did this everyday and you tried 20 mins to realize you can't do that? That's just stupid and ridiculous and I'm about to file an...
Read moreI had a terrible experience here in December that resulted in me cancelling my AT&T account entirely. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and it still took more than 2 hours to go through the process. I was bringing my own device for 1 line, getting a promotional discount on a second device and supposed to be getting a free smartwatch.
I had to provide the same information like my name and phone number 3 or 4 different times. I felt that something was not right and asked the manager to walk me through my monthly bill. He funneled me back to a young associate who assured me everything was going to be to my satisfaction. Lo and behold, two days later I realized that they were charging me $20/month more than the online advertised price, refusing to honor the BYOD discount that AT&T advertises, and also tacked on a $45/month insurance plan that I never agreed to or signed for. I went back and talked to the manager and he just shrugged his shoulders so I cancelled my order, left AT&T entirely and went to T-Mobile. Stay away if you value your time and don't want to...
Read moreTLDR: Took me 3 hours and 3 trips to receive a replacement phone and left feeling defeated.
Store advertises they open at 10am. Doors opened at 10:15am. It took me 3 hours and 3 trips to receive a replacement phone. It was extremely frustrating to feel partially-advised each visit which resulted in a very inefficient experience. During my first visit I purchased iPhone 15 Pro Max accessories. During my final visit I was sold an iPhone 15 Pro. The rep did not provide a demo or confirm the model before opening the box. It was not until the box was opened that we realized it was not the correct model. I was charged a $55 restocking fee and we had to begin the process all over again. I understand the rep had good intentions (therefore their name is omitted) but this experience was unacceptable. The poor experience was acknowledged and a charging block was offered for the inconvenience, however the box was unsealed and torn open. I declined due to mutual frustration. I'd recommend calling customer service before...
