Edward R Murrow Park — Attraction in Washington

Located just steps away from my office this little slice of heaven is the BEST! When the busy office is driving you absolutely crazy, give this park named after a newspaper man with integrity, honor. You can eat at the picnic tables, or fix your bicycle with the free air pump and tool kit. Covered with trees to shade you from the hottest Washington, DC summer days and nights, give it a try, you will not be disappointed. This park is right next to our hotel and we thought it would be a good place to hang out with our dog. It turns out in the evenings the rats and mice are everywhere. They left trash open overnight and no one seems to bother...

On a more serious note, it's a nice little park that's steps away from the World Bank with a good amount of benches and lawn space available for enjoying a meal outside, assuming DC weather...
