Well, I was in the mood for a falafel sandwich. Was going to go my usual spot which was also close, but chose this one on a whim!

Due to construction in the area, parking was a mess, but it seems to appeal to the local businesses in the area so foot travel is best.

The concept was interesting with an assembly line, build your own. However, I can’t stand when the falafel is the SAME price as the Meat proteins 😒…

As far as flavor, it was Ok, nothing amazing, falafels weren’t Smoking Hot, more like room temp and they toast the final product for about a min in a griddle style contraption.

And this might have caused my wrap to rip prematurely, soo, keep it wrapped in the paper to avoid a Mess!

For the price ($11)… definitely would Not do it again. Shouk’s falafel is better for that price!

The young lady that made it was friendly. And the seating is limited. Small little...

I came here during my lunch break since a. it’s close by and b. I forgot to pack lunch last night. Today’s lunch was a meat shawarma bowl with salad and rice and a bunch of toppings. I don’t remember all of them but off the top of my head I had: tomatoes, pickled onions, garlic, cucumbers, and parsley. I chose the bowl over the wrap since it seemed more filling; I got the salad/rice duo to be a bit healthier and get some greens in there. Anyways, the salad’s alright; I’ll probably just get rice next time. The environment/ambiance: outdoor seating was nice today. It’s conducive to spontaneous interactions and chats with other people eating. Of course, your mileage may vary. If it’s raining, it’s loud outside, too hot, etc, you might want to eat inside or just take it to go. Overall nice place, good food. I’ll probably be back again...

Craving Solved, Taste Needs Tweaking: A Falafel Wrap Review

My grumbling stomach led me to grab a veg falafel wrap, and while it did the job of quelling my hunger, it left me wanting a little more.

Flavor Flickers: The falafel itself had good potential, with a decent blend of spices and textures. However, the dryness in some bites definitely took away from the overall enjoyment. More sauce or tahini, perhaps drizzled in, would have been a game-changer!

Tip for Tweaking: This is just a friendly suggestion, but next time, ask for a few crispy fries tucked inside. Their saltiness and texture could be the perfect complement to the falafel.

Overall: It was a decent bite, but I'd recommend customizing it a bit for a more satisfying experience.

Hit 👍 if it was...

Probably the worst rice bowl of my entire life... The lamb portions looked so so so sooo small (you can finish it with 1 scoop) which is why I ordered extra meat. Even after the extra meat, the meat section didn't look enough! They charged 3$ extra for the double meat. In total, only the bowl as 17$. Probably the worst way I spend 17 dollars of mine. The meat was pretty cold. I asked the waiter to warm the bowl up. She said they don't have any Microwave. That was pretty hilarious to hear! They only have one white long grain rice, which felt like I was chewing mud? Idk. Horrible food! Heard good things about the shawrmas, but THE RICE BOWL? NO NO NO I just ate the meat because I was on my lunch break and threw away the whole thing. Going to chargeback my money from my bank!
