The box seats were not what I expected and they were completely uncomfortable for the "box area". I paid 300 bucks for a box seat for the Shen Yun show and I might as well just have sat in my dining room chair for over 2 hours... as that's the type of chair I sat in for the show. It's not worth my time, money, comfort, and what a waste of an experience...

Aside from that, here are the other negatives; there are no good signs for where the main area is, parking was 25 bucks, concession stand extremely minimal (don't go with an appetite), restrooms are small (waited in long line) and there's not enough of them (make sure you have an empty bladder or bowels), seating is NOT as advertised when you purchase the tickets!!! I bought a front row box seat and the way it was when I got there, I was seated in the middle, behind someone else!

Honestly, you get more comfort from going to a...

We saw The Play That Goes Wrong in the Eisenhower theater and really enjoyed it. I struggle with giving 3 stars instead of the 4 because what we saw was terrific so the stars reflect more about the play and actors. The problem was with the blocking of the performance. Our seats were balcony where we could not view a portion of the play which was underneath us. Had it been a 1 liner from the back we would have understood. But, this was a small set for an actor who interacted with the stage actors and the audience for the entirety of the play. If we would have been told this ahead of purchasing tickets we would have picked different seats. As it stands we feel we were jipped of experiencing...

I was amazed by the Kennedy Center Opera House and this incredible production of Les Miserables! Wow! I am so happy I went here, and to this production. Beautiful acoustics in the house, echoing these gorgeous voices, and everything about the show was perfect, I would have wanted nothing to be different. Check out this touring company, wherever you can see them. I think they will be back towards the East Coast, USA, in 2024. [I will recheck the dates & repost later]. I plan to head back to The Kennedy Opera House sooner, too see more of the JFK museum, and another show, on the Opera stage, or in one of the many beautiful theatre spaces in the house.🎭

Went to see the Lion King and our seats were amazing (Box 6, Seats 1 and 2). The Kennedy Center is a fun place to catch a show and is great for all ages. They have a little museum area on the top floor and also a rooftop area to see across the river. Highly recommend going before your show starts so that you have time to explore this building! The Kennedy Center also offers free shuttle services to/from the Foggy Bottom Metro Station, which is a huge benefit when it’s super hot/cold outside and you don’t want to walk in that weather.
