Kennedy Center — Attraction in Washington

First visited the JFK Center in 2022 on Christmas Eve for a showing of Wicked. The show of course was amazing, but the venue and center itself is gorgeous. The center is located right on the Potomac river in Washington, D.C. The closest metro stop at Foggy Bottom is a bit difficult to walk to, but parking is convenient and easy to access. They close the entrance to the parking for some reason last time I went and it was very difficult to find the other way in through the traffic. The building is outdated and very large for most of the venues that are there. Like many public buildings there was a lot of interest when they built it but not much to keep...

My fiancé and I did the tour with Beth who is the sweetest, knowledgeable guide with many years of experience. Our conversations were rich with history. This gave me a much deeper appreciation for this venue/memorial/cultural center. I can’t wait to see an opera here some day!...
