Hibbett — Local services in Watauga

Like day and night! Lol so the store manager… a Caucasian heavy set lady in a baseball cap to the back … made my whole Hibbett experience trash. I have siblings and friends who play on the NFL and furthermore are shoe heads that will never purchase with them because of this.

I purchased some dunks for my daughter in a size 10. She was all nice to me that day. Telling me she was a white girl that was really black on the inside. Lol 😂. Trying to be cool w/ me I guess because I was buying shoes. So nice to me and helpful. Told me she was the manager and all.

So fast forward to today!!! I’m laughing as a write this. I walk in to get a smaller size. It’s her and some guy in the store only. She does not look happy to see me. I even said “Hey do you remember me”? She turns and looks away with a pissy look on her face. Awww she’s upset that I’m back for some reason. I ignore it. Stuff like that doesn’t bother me. That’s why I write reviews lol. So the guy with the red hair goes to the back to check for a 9.5 like I asked. She then looks to me and says “the only size we have on hand is a 9”. I said no that’s too small. The guy comes back to the front and just stands there. Like a body guard. She’s looking over the shoes that HAVE NEVER BEEN WORN… trying to find something wrong. I mean the silence is so deep you could cut it with a knife. She then blurts out “there’s creases right here” to the guy. I tell her umm no ma’am. Those crows feet creases were already there . And they were. Then it goes back silent. There’s literally nobody else in the store. No talking just her and her sour squished up face.

At this point I’m like, if she does find the size I want… I ain’t getting NADA from her. She tells me they have a size for me on Hurst, Tx. No thanks! Just give me my money back! I paid with a debit card. On the desk there was a return sign saying that if you paid with a debit card, YOU CAN BE refunded with cash. She was so mad at me that she didn’t even offer me that. Lol 😂 doesn’t matter to me I’m not in need of it right away.

I ordered a pair of shoes via Hibbett online. I was sent the wrong item. I called customer service, which provided me two options to return the shoes, which would be via in-store or mail. I opted for the in-store return. Wendy the store manager was nice, patient and professional. She went above and beyond to help while having a solution based mindset. Unfortunately, the process was not seamless because of Hibbett’s customer service representatives , which Wendy and I both had to call multiple times while I was in the store.
