Ocean State Job Lot — Attraction in Waterbury

Waterbury is operated by better, more fair management than the naugatuck store. Why? I bought a perfect hose in naugatuck ocean state store and it failed and began leaking about the 3 month of ownership mark. It was leaking everywhere and I didn't abuse it so I knew there were likely others who bought one experiencing the same thing. I called the naugy store and the manager said they wouldn't take it back because it was beyond 30 days. I respect that but I also know if you buy in one ocean state store you can return to any of their stores so I called the Waterbury store and spoke to it's manager who told me they had loads of perfect hoses returned because they all began to leak and that I could return to Waterbury for a store credit, return it for another perfect hose or return it for the updated just released improved perfect hose the fiber optic perfect hose. Thank you ocean state Waterbury! I won't ever step foot in the naugatuck ocean state again, all over a 20 buck hose that failed and short sighted management...

This store is a regular stop for me at least twice a month, when I'm out shopping for groceries. The amount of unusual and unexpected gourmet and healthy foods that they carry in the food section of this store is incredible (many things even being imported from other Countries). And the prices are reasonable, too. Only 1 suggested warning though, is that you always need to check the expiration dates!

There isn't just food here, though! You can find, pretty much, anything that you'd find in your typical Department Store. . . from household supplies and tools to small appliances; gardening needs; camping supplies; rugs and carpets; craft items; books; cards; clothes; beauty essentials; pet supplies and food, and more. . ....

Shopping for free??? Ocean State Job Lot saved me so much money over the holidays I looked in their flyer for their crazy deals. Then i would purchase everything I needed on the crazy deal list and then at checkout they gave me the amount I spent on the product right back on an ocean state job gift card. The following day I did the same thing I used my cash and I got the crazy deal card the third day I took all of those cards and bought out half the store lol there were a few things that I was looking for that they didn't have in the store I bought them on their website they have 20 pages of crazy deals on their website it was like shopping for free. Thank you Ocean...
