I go every week for egg rolls from Lee's Kitchen (red trailer near the toilets). I'm picky, and they are simply the best egg rolls.
Lots of food ready to eat and also plenty of vendors with vegetables and cheese and such. Also vendors that sell other kinds of goods.
There are two areas with seating right there but it can get pretty crowded if you aren't there early in the morning. There are benches and other places to sit if you get creative nearby and within a short walking distance. Plenty of trash cans.
There is a coffee vendor I believe, but The Steaming Cup is about a block away for more specialty coffees.
Various parking lots and spaces that aren't too horrible. Walgreens parking lot, Waukesha State Bank lot, Clock Tower lot (at 369 W Broadway), along Riverfront St, and on Main Street (there are some bridges across the river if you park further south on Main).
Disabled parking might still be available off of St. Paul and is on the same lot as the market, but since they added the extra row of vendors this might have changed... There are still some disabled spots in the Clock Tower lot and a bridge and ramp from that lot over to the Market lot.
I've been to the Greenfield and Menomonee Falls farmers markets and now I realize that I've been spoiled with the Waukesha Farmers market (I've still yet to try the...

Read moreThe Waukesha Farmer's Market used to be a destination, a really enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning, picking up fresh produce for the week. This year, they moved the location to a very small area where the sellers are crowded together, and the aisles between them are half the size, making the experience of being there not very enjoyable. Last weekend someone's dog pooped while they were walking it ahead of me, and because everyone was shuffling along shoulder to shoulder, no one could see they were stepping in poop and spreading it in both directions. You also have to cross a really busy intersection unless you are lucky enough to find a spot in the teeny weeny parking lot. Really miss the river location or even the last large lot location that was huge. I used to go every Saturday and spent a lot of money, but this new location is awful. Great vendors, really bad crowded location. Dumb move by Waukesha's decision makers. I bet they don't even...
