I love their products, this review is based on my experience today with the manager at the store. She needs a lot of training.
I placed an order online two hours before I called. I had to pick up a table that was ready the day prior and so i ordered items online to pick up i store. After two hours I still haven’t received any information, so i called.
The lady answered and said the details had not come through yet. i was surprised as i’ve used in-store pick many times. I explained it was a 25 m drive and don’t want to risk having to come back again. I asked her if there was anyway she could check the system or anything she could do. she responded that all she could do was wait for the system to send the order through. Then she just sat there quietly.. a couple of times acrually. I asked her if she could call HQ and see what was up and she said something along the lines of “well, I guess I could but it’s not through yet and it won’t help”. not exactly like that but along those lines, don’t quote me.
So I call HQ and they let me know that the order is ready for pickup on their system. I explained and asked her to call and speak to them to make sure. she came back and said the manager told her that she told me it was being worked on, just not ready for pickup yet. so she lied….
This is just bad service and it’s unprofessional. it also took 12 minutes waiting for curbside pickup for the table that was ready...
Read moreWebster Texas store: love this store. Nice and clean. ONLY GOT A 1 STAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sign on front door states no masks required for those with medical exemption. Not a lot of places offer this so I was thrilled I could finally shop. All was good until one employee- mid 20’s short curly hair with blonde tips and glasses YELLED at me and said it was required to wear a mask while shopping. I nicely reminded her the front door sign said if I had a medical exemption I didn’t have to wear one. She then yells for Terry. I don’t know who that was. I was so upset that she yelled at me so rudely I decided to check out. While walking up to the cashier, behind a HUGE plexiglass divider, the SAME lady that yelled at me, yelled again! She told the lady who was going to check us out that if she did not feel comfortable checking me out she did not have to. The lady said she was ok. How is this behavior acceptable. The rude lady was CLEARLY discriminating against a disabled person! The kind young lady with long purple hair that checked us out was very sweet and timid. I’m sure she felt berated too. Hopefully the loud mouth lady didn’t yell at her...
Read moreToday I had such a wonderful experience while shopping for dining room chairs at the Baybrook World Market. I already purchased a dining room table from World Market a couple of months ago. But I didn’t see anything I felt 100% sure I wanted, so I decided to look around at other retailers for the perfect chairs. After looking tirelessly (for two months) online and in brick and mortar stores, I was ready to get chairs. I was still undecided but Samantha did a wonderful job of assisting me in my search for the perfect chairs,
Samantha was so kind and pleasant as well knowledgeable. I appreciated her assisting me on what she thought would work best, and she showed me how to find any eligible coupons online so I could get the best price. I was so pleased with Samantha’s customer service skills. She did an excellent job listening to my needs and presenting appropriate options. I never felt rushed nor pressured. Thank you, Samantha and Hilda for helping me today. It’s like a breath of fresh air to find such dedicated associates to make your shopping trip so stress-free and easy—and successful! I highly recommend this World...
