Honestly, this is probably the worst apartment experience Iāve ever had. My partner and I fell for the beautiful floor design, apartments, and amenities, but itās all smoke and mirrors. After taking a tour of place, we followed the instructions from the leasing office to submit the application and pay all the fees, including the deposit. We get a call a few weeks later to inform us that the unit the office told us to sign for was actually an ADA adjusted unit. Not only did I not want to live in an apartment with lower counters and a microwave under the counter, but I also did not want to take that unit away from a person who actually needed it. We were told to just wait a few more months to see if a unit with our desired floor plan would open up, and they would call us if it did. They never called, so I had to monitor the website myself for an opening with our desired floor plan. In the meantime, the office lost several pieces of our paperwork, including some with health documentation. I had a feeling that would happen, so Iām glad I scanned it all. Fast forward to move-in week, my partner and I had already rented our UHaul, taken off-work, and given notice to our then current residence about moving out. We were supposed to move-in on a Thursday, but got a call on Monday or Tuesday that the previous residents had left the place in ābad shape and we need to replace the carpet and paintā. This delayed our move-in to Saturday, which required us to dramatically shift our plans and reservations. At move-in, the leasing office had zero clue how much we already paid, including deposit, and they tried to overcharge us $200. My partner and I keep very detailed records as well, so I put a stop to that. In a matter of hours, they lost another piece of that paperwork, which required me to find time to go down and sign something again. My partner has been receiving bug bites on his ankles since we moved in back in June. It wasnāt until I changed the sheets on our bed this weekend that I discovered the reason for 1) my partnerās bug bites and 2) the undisclosed reason why they had to replace the carpet in our apartment before we moved in. My partner and I are extremely clean people. We found the powder to kill the bugs already in the electrical outlets meaning the place had been treated, but not clearly enough. Now they expect us to pay the $1,200 heat treatment for the unit. When asked about that initial carpet replacement, we were told it was because of āwear and tearā, but I am very skeptical. We lost our bed, a handful of other possessions, and our sense of safety and security in our own home.
On top of these other problems above, they never answer emails or phone calls. Every email I send them gets ignored. Iāve been asking for an additional mail key for months. If we call the office, they donāt answer, and it goes to voicemail. Instead of calling back, they send a text message, even though Iāll see them in there same day just sitting around. The office always sends passive aggressive texts and emails out to the whole building that are never sent in a professional manner.
As for the people here, Iāve witnessed a dog who lives here bite another dogās ear off. I emailed that to front office with pictures, and they never responded. The dog still lives here. We have found dog urine in the hallway and elevator. Dogs have accidents, but itās clear the owners donāt care and donāt clean it up. If they cleaned it up, it wouldnāt be a big deal, but folks just leave it. The elevators are down quite often with no notice. When they are working, theyāre filthy. I take pictures every time. People leave trash like their empty drinks in the stairways, parking garages, etc.
Overall, Iām so disappointed and distraught about my experience here. I wouldnāt recommend this place to anyone. Itās way overpriced for the lack of customer service and sense of security. Potentially going to file a compliant with the city and consulting an attorney about the issues with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not move in here. This apartment looked wonderful when my boyfriend and I first moved in. Everything is so nice and clean and new... it seriously looked like the best apartment. We have lived here for 7 months and our lease cannot end soon enough! 3 months in our vivint smart home system stopped working. They said because of a baby monitor. A BABY MONITOR BROUGHT DOWN A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM!!! They still have not fixed it. Not that I would expect anything less from them here. The garage doors don't work most days. Everything they use inside the apartments are CHEAP! The dryer cannot go higher than medium without smelling bad and when they dryer stopped working someone came out, looked at it for 5 minutes, left and 4 days letter we still cannot do laundry and dry our clothes. No one picks up after their dogs, so there is also poop laying around the building and no one is held accountable for it. We have a dog and always clean up after him, really annoys me that no one else cares and the property managers don't care to even do anything about it. The bottom line is that everything here looks great to get you to move in, but the moment you do you will look past the facade and wish you never did. We got locked out one afternoon - an hour after the office closed for the weekend and won't open to help us until Monday at 9am- and they don't do lock out. You think they would because I know at least 3 workers that live in the apartments and would literally have to go 5 doors down to help us out. Nope, they don't care. You call their line and they even tell you that you're just SOL and to figure it out, or they'll see you Monday when it's convenient for them to help. Did I mention the reason we were locked out is because they never fixed our Vivint system and the door locked when we didn't have the key? But, that's something we have to figure out or sleep outside until Monday. Well, I live on the second floor (technically the first) and I have had someone climb up from the ground and onto my balcony before. Do you know how scary that is? Especially in West Valley with a security system that can be brought down by a BABY MONITOR! What a joke this building is. Oh, and not to mention that they enter your apartment all the time. I've been here 7 months and they've entered 7 times for "inspections". Interesting that they can't just schedule all inspections on the same day like EVERY APARTMENT EVERYWHERE DOES. Nope, that would require planning and work. They don't care if they inconvenience your life, so long as they make their money! So, expect them coming in once a month for whatever reason possible. Who doesn't love strangers entering their home monthly while they are at work? BUYER BEWARE! Overpriced and not at all what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in there to check out the pricing and what the apartments looked like Saturday morning at 6/27/2020. The part spanish lady behind the leasing desk explained the fees associated with pets and then she focused on availability, We said that we could move any time from this month to the next year. I was extremely dissatisfied with her lack of concentration when she completely ignored the customers question. (I ended up leaving without knowing the price of an apartment even though I said we could move in at any time). (Who goes to shop for apartments and leaves without knowing the price). I was clear saying that we could move in any time from now until next spring. When she handed me the layout I noticed that there was no pricing on it so I asked her. RATHER than address the question that every potential tenant addresses, she said, "It depends on the time frame, like maybe the rent would go up" well I found that disturbing (Who cares if the price goes up in 6 months, what is it today? Is it $1100 is it $1300? It would have been nice to know these basic questions that every other apartment addresses, just not her for some reason! She could have simply said, "on the other info sheet it list the current prices, and then I would be satisfied and maybe took a look at the model. Instead she asked, "If you are going to have an attitude" maybe she doesnt want to show me an apartment. I give her two snaps for sensing me getting perterbed at this point, if she is so talented at other peoples emotions perhaps she should be a counselor or something. A genius would simply said, "they start at $1100 per month" Of course Im getting perturbed at this time. I still don't know what the price is. I said, if you arent going to answer my question of what the price was for rent, and bombard me with all limited availabilty includingi waiting until spring to rent the ones being built next door. (This still doesnt tell me what they go for! Dang that was hard to get info out of here! (thanks for telling me the pet rent was $45 a month, but my pet isnt going to be paying the monthly rent) I said, never mind, I've lost interest in this community. REST ASSURED THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW WAS JUSTLY DESERVED. Every person that comes in wants to know what it looks like and how much it is, I left without knowing either, and upset at the witholding of basic information I sucessfully found EVERYWHERE ELSE! Ill forgive her for your pride and ignorance but it was a hell of a way to start out a saturday at 10 a.m. (oh and she was...
