While perusing all the good stuff at HomeGoods Princeton, NJ, I noticed a dark blue media cabinet. It was in pristine condition, tagged at $500. Mind you, I've seen navy media cabinets online for thousands of dollars. I walked over to the checkout area and asked Will who is a Store Support person (manager) if he would please offer some design advice to help me make my decision to purchase or not. I showed him a pic of my family room and we both agreed it would be a great fit! That was about 3:30 pm. He gave me the phone # of the GoShare Delivery Service who was also so easy to deal with.
Are you ready for this? I had the cabinet sitting in my family room by 6pm, same day. HomeGoods and HomeSense are great stores for all of your home decor needs. Great quality decor, reasonably priced. In most cases, just as good or better than the so-called high-end companies. Thank you Will for all your help. I really appreciate your interest in my outcome and your professionalism! The navy blue cabinet pulled my whole room together 💙. My whole...
Read moreGreat selection of products and generally good service, however, I encountered an older female employee at this location who was particularly rude after my daughter was playing with toys (about 3) in the aisle while I was standing next to her and watching. The employee proceeded to put back the items that my daughter had taken off the shelf, basically taking toys out of her hands and reprimanded her for taking stuff of the shelf. Mind you, my daughter is 2 and I was going to buy these toys until this employee did this. Honestly, I can understand that it can be frustrating to clean up after customers but my daughter was not making a mess and if she was I would be responsible enough to clean up after her and reprimand her myself. I feel that the appropriate thing for this employee would have been to wait until the aisle was clear of customers to clean it up if necessary. I love home goods but I am a little turned off by this situation. Besides this whole store is a mess there were plenty of other aisles to work on in...
Read morehad a poor experience at this homegoods with the associate phil at checkout, who can be identified by her mask. went through the line two separate times, once for myself and once with my partner’s mother. she seemed pretty annoyed with me for using both cash and card which was fine whatever. the second time, my partners mother was looking through her wallet before the transaction ended so she’d be ready to pay. she asked what the total was and phil sighs and goes “it’s right here 😐” instead of just… telling her. and then we noticed she forgot to scan a celebration card (which was in fact on the counter). we asked if she had scanned it so as not to walk out with merchandise. not only is this a loss prevention issue, phil proceeds to say, “you didn’t give me a card” and shake her head at my partners mother while looking for change. as an associate that does the same exact job, kinda rude, kinda a company liability, and kinda shouldn’t be up front. also, upon review, we were actually charged for the card (“that wasn’t...
