The only downfall about this ice centre is that it's always extremely busy, but that is because there's such a great ice center. They have great rinks and great service from their employees. It's easy to get in and worth the cost, especially with all the fun you'll have. Whether it's just going to skate, wanting to have fun playing hockey, or going for or setting up a party, they are fantastic. And to make things even better attached to the center is a sports bar/restaurant. Again they have great service, great prices, and it's very easy to get into. You can sit back watch TV, eat some great food and have a drink if you're old enough and you like. LOL. and to make things even better if you need a place to stay right next door is the Westin hotel. It's a beautifully amazing hotel that has the service and the cleanliness that you're looking for. The prices are expensive compared to other hotels, but if you go online and look at the hotel prices and order a room that way, the price is so much lower and worth it. Even if you ended up paying full price and not looking for a discount, I have to say this hotel is more than worth it. And if it couldn't get any more better, within walking distance (I mean within less than 5 minutes) you can cross a bridge and go to one of the many restaurants, shopping / stores, or AMC theater to watch a movie right there! It's phenomenal fantastic and worth every bit of your time, driving distance, and any money spent. I highly recommend this ice centre for all that they provide, and all the other entertainment / restaurant / hotel. It's one of the best places around and I recommend going as much as possible! They are more than worth your time, money, driving distance! Go try it out and come back many many times, compared to other places this place, this area is ideal and better than any other place...
Read moreRead moreWe were invited to a birthday party hosted there on a Sat. My 8-year-old kid had no experience but was excited to explore. We rented the walker thing but it was poorly handled. The person wrote our #15 that looked like 16, while she also wrote a 15 and 16 to someone else. The guy handing the walker out ensured me that was a #16 from my wrist band. While my kid was out in the ring falling and catching himself with the walker, ---the rink guard rudely grabbed the walker away from my kid to left him literally the other side of the ring to fall and crawl all the way back to the exit!!!!!
Good place to skate. WARNING: bring your own high ankle support skates! Their rentals are DANGEROUS and no way to learn and a PERFECT platform for getting injured. I’m very athletic. Skated my whole life. I rented their skates and felt like I honestly had never skated in my entire life..The way they makes skates now is simply dangerous. You need the high ankle old fashioned figure skates to support control of your movement. They don’t even sell them in their store. I spoke with over 12 people that night. Even overhearing conversations everyone had the same thing to say about their skates they felt wobbly unsafe and out of control. I fell 3 times I honestly don’t remember the last time I fell skating. I had no confidence I couldn’t do half the things I would normally be able to do I left early because I ended up getting hurt. I’m not coming back without going to get an old pair of skates from like the thrift store. I also ran into an x professional figure skater and she had a high ankle skates I also ran into another skater who is really good; she also had, older model high ankle skates. Seems really crazy. This World is always trying to make things better when something should remain the same because I’m telling you most people were flopping around who had those crappy rentals. Lastly ther were several extremely fast kids whom I saw take out three people. They weren’t even asked to leave or reprimanded. There were A few families with really small...
