I have had my nails done here 3 times. Each time was a different experience. The 1st time, I went with a friend who was here from out of town. We went for a pedicure. It was okay. Nothing to brag about. I don't think my friend was impressed with what she received with what she paid. I decided to come back for another mani/pedi because the 1st time my nails looked good for a really long time. They lasted much longer than I had expected. The 2nd experience was completely different than the 1st visit when it came to customer service. I was extremely happy! The ladies I saw were fantastic. (One did toes, and one did fingers) They were friendly, explained pricing, what they they were doing, and made sure I liked the end results. I wished I knew their names; I would have loved to have returned to see them again. The 3rd time I went in, I saw a younger gentleman. The 1st thing he did when I sat down was cut my nautural nails down. I had some length to my nails and did NOT want them cut! HE DID NOT ASK me if I wanted my nails cut. He just cut them. He cut them so short they looked like I had been biting my nails. He cut the 1st one so quickly it was too late to do anything about it if I would have said something. There wouldn't have been anything he could have done to fix it. I would not have been happy with a tip or acrylic. This young man had ear buds in. I could hear whatever he was listening to. I'm not sure how he would have heard anything I would have said or requested anyway. The few times I spoke to him he just stared at me or looked away. He was extremely rude. I chose a pretty glitter pink color (gel). He missed the outer part of the nail on several of my fingers while painting the first layer of polish. Every other time I have had my nails done, the tips or ends of my nails have been painted. Maybe it's done to prevent chipping or peeling? Well, less than 2 weeks after my appointment, several of my fingers had the gel peeled off. I have never had gel peel off like before. The cost of a Simple manicure with paraffin wax dip with the additional cost of gel polish was $60 not including tip. No, this was not acrylic, or rebase Not nail art, just a simple manicure. I will find a new salon, or do it myself next time and...

The fact that the salon has about 30 chairs and 30 tables tells you they are into mass production of services where they churn out numerous customers fast and furious, quite the opposite of the concept of 'Very Important person.' I took my daughter there for a manicure, and whenever I tried to ask the manicurist a question, she ignored me. Subtle cultural nuances like 'paying attention to the person paying the bill' are lost on this culturally and linguistically inept business. I had to ask three times before our manicurist's would even stop her fast pace 10-minute manicure and look up and address my concern. Not even volume and vocal variety would shake her from her robotic style, as if she was working on a machine and not with another human being. When I brought up a concern that they had the entire manicure done in what seemed like 10 minutes, she pointed to a sign on the wall stating 15 minute manicures. It was clear, they want you to think 15 minutes means no waiting, but what it really means is, they do fast, crappy work. They spent hardly any time trimming cuticles, filing, or massaging. There were no extras like using a warm wash cloth or cuticle oils, just the basics. Most importantly, I am tired of businesses like these that don't seem to make any effort to understand their English speaking customers and use the fact they speak little to no English as an excuse for poor customer service. It is time American's start standing up to them, demanding their technicians learn our language or we aren't going to patronize their businesses. In this business's case the VIP stands for Very Ignorant People or high Volume while...
Read moreI live down the street and have tried this place a handful of times and each time it's just not a pleasant experience. We had an issue last June with them charging more than quote and doing extra services on my kids that we declined then charged us for them. I tried them again yesterday and went back to Anna who is a very talented nail tech. My nails turned out just okay and she did the bare minimum while doing them, which is what you can expect from this salon. My biggest complaint was listening to the upset lady argue with the male manager who was fixing her nails she didnt like. It was a 15 minute arguing match behind me and he just kept telling her they were supposed to be that way and she was clearly upset about them. Also my natural nails are long and Anna filed them down with the electric file and now they are under the acrylics with sharp edges and no shaping which I am really upset she did that. My nails were beautiful! She asked if I wanted to cut them and I said no just a little file if they are to long. Before I knew it she had 3 nails cut down with an electronic file straight across within seconds. I about cried. On top if this she just seemed like she really didn't want to do my nails. She didn't smile, was not pleasant, and didn't care to talk at all during my appointment. She was clearly fustrated that I took longer than 30 seconds to pick out my nail colors. When her next client walked in she smile and said hi 2 times to her, rushed to finish my nails and was very pleasant to her regular customer. It's a nice looking salon but such a negative environment and experience. I will not be returning. If you are looking for amazing service try Nail Ave up up the street or Lee at Legacy nails. They are some of the best in the area and really take care of their customers. I do not recommend...
