Absolutely amazing place to stay May 4-5 2024. Main elevators were down but they have additional u can use. :) There is a bar as well as a restaurant (opens ant 5pm) and you can book your stay with free breakfast. The steak was sooo good and the wings. My toddler ate the quesadilla and fries it was a good size plate. The cooks are fantastic !! My youngest had a United States twirling competition. She took 2nd woohoo! I had a spellbound red wine and we took a swim in the indoor heated pool and the Hot Tub. Two small complaints the refrigerator in rm 409 does not stay plugged in so our left over food went bad and our juice and water for competition day were not cold. Other than that it was an absolutely amazing stay the staff is all great. Even the housekeepers greeted us there was one employee that told me go use the other elevator for now on (a heavy set white male not sure if he was kitchen worker or cook? That we passed by the elevator at 8pm on the 4th) but I told him I tried it and it won’t close and front desk told us to use the one marked with blue tape. It didn’t bother me the place is great we will be back. Breakfast we had scrambled eggs toast fruit bacon and oatmeal they have yogurt and bagels too (serve yourself) they also have Starbucks coffee pot. The front desk is amazing as well we were greeted and they showed us where the restaurant, bar, pool, gym and extra elevator was. Explained how to get to our room. The Waitress and bartender were great as well I have never seen a whole staff crew so precessional (other then the one but maybe he was having a bad day or didn’t know the elevators were still down) still gave 5 stars. We drove over 4 hours and this place was the best to relax after a long drive. There is no hair dryer so bring your own

Our family was very impressed by our stay at this Marriott property. When we arrived, the front desk staff immediately greeted us with friendly smiles and offered to assist us. Once we had checked in, one of the ladies offered to show us where the lounge was. She stepped out from behind the desk and showed us two ways to enter that room. That was very helpful! We had a room on the sixth floor, and it was very spacious. The room looked clean and had plenty of room for the three of us. We had breakfast included with our stay, so we were able to enjoy the buffet. Both days included scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal and fresh fruit. The buffet also featured sausage patties the first day and bacon the next. The hotel had ample, free parking. There was also an indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. The gym looked nice as well, but we didn’t use any of the amenities. Besides the restaurant onsite, the area had several restaurants and shops nearby. I’d also like to express how friendly the entire staff was! This may be one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the front desk to the maintenance crew to the restaurant staff, we were always greeted warmly and were offered assistance as needed. Thank you for the wonderful stay. If we ever come back to Denver, we’ll be sure to stay here again.

If you happen to travel in this area, expect a family trip with amenities enjoyed at the hotel, think again. We are platinum members for life, and this is the very first hotel that we’ve experienced getting denied access to the pool BECAUSE the hotel has contracted a swimming school to use their facilities everyday from early afternoon until early evening, EVEN ON WEEKENDS!!! It is amazing how the Marriott Flagship would allow this name brand hotel to have owners get greedy to profit, not just from hotel occupancy but to do something extra on the side for money. It could be argued that hotel guests pay for this amenity, and the swim school paid for it too—- but guests can’t use the pool. The British Swim School even does their lessons on weekends, when guests travel most! The hotel did post on their website after finding it under fitness but I recommend they highlight this on their welcome page so expectations are straight right away. If you are also the swimming school, and can’t find a “public facility” to do your lessons, then that’s just the reality of demand, rip off your customers who are willing to pay this fee (this is arguably a well off area), then it’s business as usual. We will not be coming back here.

To preface this, we got this hotel room for a night for free from my partners mother as nice gift and a change of pace from the loud environment we typically find ourselves in. We had her call ahead 3 times to make sure thee reservation was under my name as my partner is 20 and I myself am 22. We then called ahead 2 hours before checking in again just to make sure that there would be no complications because both my partner and I are not big fans of anxiety inducing situations. This how things began and I was confident that our one night stay was going to be a wonderful time, boy was I wrong. The moment we arrived we approached the front desk only for the receptionist to be rather difficult with us and state that our reservation did not exist, even though we had confirmed 4 times over that this was the right location and it was in fact under my name. We responded to this by moving off to the side and locating our email confirmation. After locating the evidence of our reservation we returned to the front desk to an even colder reception upon providing evidence that we had a room there for the night and then the receptionist finally acknowledged it and gave us our room keys with a experience akin to pulling teeth. My partner and I weren't sure as to why this happened so we asked her and she said the system was fine so it limited my reasons as to why this would occur. I know that this has something to do with the fact that I am African American and we are in an Interracial relationship but funny how I have to specify that to make any of this make sense. We proceeded to go up to our room and the room was ok, except for the fact that we were supposed to have hypoallergenic bedding because we are both allergic to down bedding. We then tried to call and ask for hypoallergenic pillows and blankets only to be left on hold for 20 minutes and nobody answered so we hung up anyways. This caused us a lot of discomfort as we were trying to sleep and the next morning we both awoke to pain in our eyes, the inability to breathe properly, and bodily discomfort in the form of itchiness. We went downstairs to order food and it was good and the bartender was AMAZING, and made us feel totally welcome. While I was at the bar ordering my drink I had my partner who is Caucasian (also stupid I have to say that) and the same receptionist who checked us in was kinder to my partner when I was not present while she enquired about the pool. When my partner asked about it the receptionist responded with "It depends" to which my partner responded with "Is the pool closed?" and the receptionist responded with "no" and my partner had to follow with "Can we reserve it then?" and the receptionist responded with "Sure" in a sarcastic tone, falling in line with her cold approach to us earlier. She said there would be towels for us in the pool waiting, to which we found none and had to use small ones from the attached gym. We took a hot shower and then went to bed only to be greeted in the morning by the discomfort that was outlined earlier due to both us being allergic to down bedding. Breakfast was good, and then we didn't leave our room until checkout at 4pm. We got down to the front desk and found the same receptionist who had repeatedly treated us poorly waiting to check us out where she was short with us, cold in speech, and speaking to us in a manner as where our very presence annoyed them. This would have been fine until we saw that a Caucasian couple went up to the front desk and were greeted with warmth like we had never seen in our entire stay. This is the point where I was fed up enough to ask to speak to management which I rarely do, the receptionist called the general manager, but we were actually met with the director of sales. There was no reassurance that this wouldn't happen to someone else. This Marriott has made it apparent that they are not inclusive or friendly to people of color...

Alot of ups and downs here. Hotel is nice, lookswise but the service is awful. Got told their was a breakfast that came with the room but the gal didn't give us any vouchers. We go to have breakfast and they hold cold drinks hostage (water, juice, soda, etc). Was there for about 10-15mins before I just had to start asking everyone. Had 4 people wandering about not one would stop, ridiculous. Then on our way back to the room elevators break. Any sign or signage? Nope. Any staff member letting guests know? Nope. Told front desk and she said we know but it's been like that all morning. We look around for stairs and she says they lock them. How do you get away with locking fire exits? God forbid the hotel have a fire as you are going to have to jump out the window because the stairs are locked. Maybe the hotel owners/managers bribed the local officials but I'm amazed how something so illegal is just normal here.

Day two was a lot better, elevators seemed to be working but appeared glitchy and like they might break down again soon (door wouldn't close and couldn't choose floor to doors relecutance to open once we got to our floor. Breakfast was alright (definitely wouldn't buy it separately though and by god they try to sell you it instead of including it with your room.) Only 3mins today to get asked about drinks which I appreciated, compared to yesterday where after 15min we just started asking everyone and anyone for some water. Today The same gal who kept staring us down and ignoring us yesterday, well I could tell she didn't want to ask us (as she looked at us as we sat with our food and walked by but then I could almost see a sign and then she came back to ask us.) Also don't look underneath the beds as they obviously don't clean, but beds seemed clean enough and no bed bugs so that was a plus. Pros: -Visually appealing -Nice bedrooms -strong heater

Cons: -Terrible service -Illegal health & safety violations (locked stairwells and stairs) -Broken Elevators (maybe not a daily thing but that's not what the staff said but to be fair the staff didn't know we were listening or else we wouldn't have heard the...

This hotel alone is 4 stars. I'm a tough critic, 5 stars are given when the experience is beyond what is expected. The staff at this location is amazing. Andrew greeted us at the front desk and was awesome in getting us set up when the hotel was overbooked. Valerie and I believe April?, are a mother and daughter duo at the bar who are a lot of fun, attentive, and very knowledgeable and consistent with drinks. Absolutely great vibes when these two are working together, we stayed a lot longer than we planned because the atmosphere they created was inviting. Abrianna was working when I entered the M-Lounge late one night and there was no hot water for tea, she was stocking snacks and noticed the look of disappointment and quickly asked how she could assist me. She grabbed me hot water for my tea and made sure to grab a sleeve so I wouldn't get burned.she was very friendly, approachable and attentive to my needs. This hotel will get my business again, 100% because of the level of Customer service the hotel staff has. They do it because it's who they are and not because it's expected. That's the difference. I truly feel that. Sure the hotel lobby doors kinda wonky, the elevators are in and out of service. However they have a plan and the service elevator is actually more convenient than anything. There a few minor inconveniences with the elevator but the overall experience is great. Be sure to book direct with the hotel, you'll end up saving more money doing so than using Expedia. Parking is plentiful and easy. The pool is heated and indoor. The spa is outside and normal size for maybe 6-7 people. Recommend the M-Lounge club add on, it pays for itself. Know that the breakfast isn't free BUT the voucher is $10 for two people and it's buffet style and the food is delicious. The hotel location is easy to get to down town Denver and...
