This review was supposed to be for the Pet Smart on Green Oaks in Ft. Worth. I took our dog here for grooming three times, and all experiences were horrible. The staff members are rude, have no integrity are unprofessional, l and the grooming area is always unsanitary. This last visit, we scheduled a 3:30 appointment, and when we got there, we waited 15 minutes with no one acknowledging us. So, we went to find an employee to help. He had earbuds in his ear and couldn't hear us. When finally speaking with a grooming employee, she stated that the previous person didn't read the note to not book her any appointments after this time. Then she said, " We only have one groomer today, and she's running an hour and a half behind, so she will not be able to get to your dog." At this point, now I'm asking to speak to a manager. The assistant manager Alex came in and wanted to know what's going on. The employee now tells him that there was a problem with the last grooming, and Erica doesn't feel comfortable doing the grooming. I informed them that she didn't perform the last grooming, but there was an issue with the groomer not trimming his nails. Alex goes in the back to speak with her and returns, stating he is not going to make her perform a grooming if she's not comfortable, I'm not going to make her. I stated, "Sir, I'm not asking for you to make anyone do anything." It's the fake that we've been told three different lies in less than 10 minutes. Also, it's the professionalism to call the customer beforehand, not after they get there. This experience was absolutely the worst. We will not be taking our dog here anymore and would rather pay more money somewhere else to receive higher standards and...
Read moreThere's NO PROTECTION from softballs hitting your car or your kids at this park!!! Went to Veteran's Park for the first time with my wife, to stroll our 11 month old grandson. We no sooner parked and took the baby out of car and putting him into his stroller when a softball came way over the fence and into the middle of the parking lot, hitting my car hood (denting it deeply), and thankfully missed my grandson that was less than 3 feet away! There are no WARNING SIGNS, no HIGH FENCE OR CATCH NETS on the one side of the field!! This is NOT a safe park, and we will NOT be going back!! We filed our claim with the City, and requested they put up high fences and/or catch nets. They responded with having their insurance company call us to say our claim was denied (and my wife was told it wouldn't matter if it was even a PERSONAL INJURY to my grandson) ... the "City is protected" by the Texas Tort Claims Act!! They should rename the Park ... White Settlement Softball Park (NOT Veteran's Park)!!! Obvious that the park is intended for softball moreso than families going to enjoy an outing. I, myself am a veteran but will not be visiting...
Read moreVertans Park is a place if you just wanna walk around and enjoy the weather or just to clear your head. They also have softball games threw out the week on either Saturdays or Sundays and it's from any age to grown men or young adults went to my first game with my husband and kids and I was quite impressed how laid back and freeing everyone was during those kinds of events. The only thing I had a problem with was with the water it's just not as clean as I wanted it to be and filled with trash...
