This was my 2nd visit to this nail salon, I went at noon and let me say the 1st time I only had a pedicure done and it went fantastic one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. This time around I went in for a full set because my baby shower is on Saturday and wanted to get my nails done for pictures. I get there around noon and wait around 25 mins to get started on, I’m not upset because they are moderately busy. While waiting they have me look through a bunch of nail colors and I set one aside on the counter that I’m considering coming back to and one of the nail tech guys comes and moves it and I lose the color (there are at least 15 different sets of rings so there’s no way I’m going to find it again), ok so I pick a different color I’m trying to decide if I liked it as much as the lost color and the same nail tech that moved the ring of colors earlier comes back and takes all the colors aside from the ones in my hand without bothering to ask if I’m finished looking through them, ok I guess I have to stick to the color I only kind of like. Once a different nail tech guy comes and sits down to start working on my nails he doesn’t introduce himself, spends at least 5 mins trying to find a working electronic nail filer and just seems super disorganized. He begins filing my nails with the electronic filer, doesn’t bother touching my cuticles (I pick at them so they’re awful looking) and after putting the tips on and cutting them he goes straight to the dip without asking about shape. Every nail tech has a different method so I patiently wait for him to ask me what shape I want I’m assuming he’ll file it down to the shape I wanted after he finishes applying the dip (which in hindsight doesn’t make sense because had I wanted a coffin or sharp shape he would have had to cut the tip to accommodate that) he rushes through putting the dip on my nails and files them to a square round all while never asking me what shape I desire. Should I have spoken up? Probably, but I’m not a nail tech how was I supposed to know at which point in the process was a good time to tell him the shape I wanted. As he’s filing he forgets to shape my thumb nail and I have to remind him to go back to it. At this point I’m so upset with my nails I’m fighting back tears. All in all he finished in around the same time I waited to get worked on and I know for sure it was around 25 minutes because I was texting my fiance and looked at the time stamps. I’ve never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon before, there was a severe lack of customer service to start, the nail tech rushed through my nails as if he had something better to be doing, didn’t ask how I wanted the shape, and they came out different lengths cause he didn’t compare them side by side when cutting them. I’m pregnant so call it hormones, but when my fiance picked me up and asked me if I liked my nails I began to cry so hard about them to the point of making...
Read moreI have been going to Nail Pro on Clifford almost a decade, after using another provider in the downtown FW area for many years. Once I discovered Nail Pro on Clifford, I knew I had found my new home! The salon is impressively clean and all of their equipment is consistently in good working order. But the true winning feature is their staff--and their management. The technicians here are friendly and are encouraged to chat and build relationships with their customers, while still honoring a quiet, relaxing, spa atmosphere. At my previous salon, the owners clearly ran the place with an iron fist. It was clean and professional. But they discouraged interaction with the customers, urging them instead to work quickly and turnover customers as rapidly as possible in order to bring in more $$$. They frequently tried to cross-sell you to upgrades or add'l procedures. Nail Pro has a completely different vibe. It's relaxed and inviting, while maintaining Top Level standards. It's so nice to be in a salon where no one is rushed, and I see the staff smile and even laugh aloud. Prices are reasonable, too. Be sure to load up your gift card at their annual 20% off sale at the holidays--what a deal! Great place!...
Read moreI don’t usually Leave reviews at places and I understand working in customer service can be hard, I work it myself, however I have never been to a nail salon with such poor customer service before in my life. I walked in and I wasn’t even greeted with a “hello how are you”, just immediately what do you want done? The man doing my nails looked so irritated, He had an attitude, he sighed so many times, didn’t make conversation with me at all I didn’t feel welcome. He rolled his eyes. I was trying to get quoted for a price and He just seemed so bothered, And He hurt my finger. Additionally, the lady that was doing my pedicure was being rushed and I just feel like overall the atmosphere was horrible. I felt horrible being here. I will never be coming back. I also feel like if he didn’t want to do the design, I would’ve much rather him told me that he couldn’t or didn’t/wouldn’t be able to instead he left me with an OKish job.
-I will say I definitely notice the different in treatment. One other customers that were white went in. Which, if that’s the reason, I was treated the way I was treated, Then, if it was possible to give zero...
