I will first say I love Panda Express. I usually go to the one on 183 near ridgemar. The one in White Settlement recently opened so I went there. EVERYTHING about the experience was awful. I waited 50 min for 3 plates. (Incorrect plates) This includes me having to remind them I'm outside waiting. Remind them what I'm waiting for and give my receipt back so they could make my order, which they still didn't get right. I've worked customer service for many years so I try to be understanding of the circumstances. I never leave bad reviews or complain. In this case there was just no excusing the extremely poor service, total lack of concern, zero compensation or apology, 50 min wait, etc. The staff I dealt with were young, unprofessional and lacking the experience needed to handle potential problems such as mine in a way that would at least let me leave with my negative experience being somewhat addressed/ recognized and feeling like a valued customer. Instead I left in shock & disappointment and had to explain to my guests why it took over an hour to get dinner. Why it was still incorrect. And that no, they didn't rectify the situation. I live very close by but doubt I will ever return. I'd rather drive out of my way to any other location than to go thru that/ be treated like that/ leave feeling like that again. I wouldn't even do it for free food so the chance of me paying for such an experience again is basically zero. I was thrilled to have a location open so close but the thrill didn't last thru one visit. Believe me when I say I'm very understanding and laid back about these things so my experience had to be really, really awful to leave me feeling this way. I visit PE often at other locations and this is my first & only negative experience. I will continue to be a loyal customer & will continue to go out of my way to get it. 100% worth it...
Read morePlaced a mobile order for pickup around 7:30 pm before my lunch break. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:08 pm go straight to the online pickup order line and no one was there. Asked a young man if he could assist me with my order he told me no he couldn’t help me because he don’t work the front. So a young lady walk over and ask what I needed I informed her I was picking up a mobile order she then asked for the name on the order then tell me she’ll be happy to assist me after I get in the line! I told her it was a mobile order so it should be ready she then say I have not started on any mobile orders! I told her it was my lunch break and to cancel the order because I didn’t have time to wait. She refused to cancel the order so I left and called up there because I didn’t want to look like a mad lady in front of the other customers. The shift leader keeps telling me she couldn’t cancel that I would need to cancel it and after telling her multiple times there’s no option for me to cancel Nevada if there was I would’ve and be done with it. I asked for the manger she said there’s no manger available so I suggested that she could contact the manger and I’ll wait on hold for them to assist her on how to cancel a mobile order and I assured her I was not hanging up with it confirmation that my order was canceled. This is not the first or second time, I went there a few weeks ago and I ordered the steak, chow mein and String bean chicken, it took forever to get through to the pay window. Now mind you I am a general manager for a fast food restaurant so I know how the pandemic has really contributed to the staffing and retention issues. But this does not mean that we throw customer service and quality out the window. So after waiting in line for 20mins because, I got to the window paid and waiting another 10mins at the window for my food,I was asked for sauce which I wanted sweet and sour. After paying i was then told that they were out of the steak and were not making more coz it was after 7pm and were closing, i bejing beef instead, i got the order and went home, just to open my food and find no sweet and sour and also beef was so hard and dry, noodles were old and hard. I know yall have holding times for your food and have to waste them if they have expired on their holding times, but noooooo I guess your food cost is so high that you keeping everything and not caring about the quality just to make your numbers.
