Long story short, I would NOT recommend anyone to get any of their devices fixed here, whether it be a laptop or phone. If they get unlucky like me, nothing's done, parts are now missing and time's just wasted that you could've had the device fixed or almost fixed. Additionally you also get threatened to pay the full price for an incomplete repair if you rather take your phone back, until a manager gets involved. In terms of recommendations for improvement, if a customer comes in for a specific part that you have in stock and you already have the customer's device, you've reached out to them once but haven't heard anything within a day, instead of just moving onto the next thing atleast try reaching out once more. Additionally, if you know that you're using the last of something that a customer specifically came in for, even if you haven't heard from them yet, just pre-order the part. Even if that customer decides against it, it wouldn't hurt to have one of the product in stock. I would have been far more likely to continue and recommend service here if i was notified ahead of time. It could've just been, sorry, we hadn't heard from you so we used the item and it's no longer in stock but no worries we have already order a replacement, which will come in however many days, in the meantime if you're unwilling to wait these are your options, etc etc. Instead I had to reach back out and then find out oh, they dont even have it in stock anymore, and i can only choose from 2 colors they do have. Yes getting the product ordered is an option but that only became and option cause I brought it up. that's also going to add an unexpected wait time of several days despite part of the company's slogan is "quick turn around" so a 1-2 day job turns into a minimum of a week. Additionally, any parts that were there when dropping it off may not be there when picking it up and declining their services, "it came off with the glass, since we're not doing the repair, so we're not going to do anything about it" was what i got told when i questioned about missing parts. I have not had the chance to have it looked at by another technician yet so I don't even know the extent of damage or missing parts it...

I live in Chicago. My phone had water damage. I called twice to verify that they could work on my Samsung 6. They said yes twice.
I drove to the Whitefish Bay location from Chicago to drop off the phone and explain what happened. They gave me a receipt and said they would work on it.
The next day no work was done on the phone. They did not open up the phone to inspect it.
They lied and said they opened up the phone. All they did was try to turn the phone on and came to the same conclusion I did which is that the phone does not work. Duh!!!! I already know that. That’s the reason I need a repair!! You gotta be kidding me.
They lied and said they cleaned the mother board, but they never even opened up the phone at all.
I wasted time and money driving to their location in Wisconsin from Chicago because they lied.
When I came back to get the phone they never worked on, they gave me the phone number of another repair place that they guaranteed could fix my phone but it would be expensive. That is why I say this company is a scam. It’s a bait and switch scam. They lure you in with the promise of fixing your phone, only to say they can’t fix it and give you another place to take your phone which is super expensive.
I never went to the expensive repair shop they recommended in Wisconsin.
I took my phone to a cell phone repair place in Chicago and the repair guy verified for me that they never opened the phone up, they never cleaned the mother board and that they lied.
The Chicago repair shop fixed my phone in 2 hours. I DO NOT RECOMMEND UBREAKIFIX IN WHITEFISH BAY, WISCONSIN!!!!!
Do not believe that "Response from the owner" below either.
I called 2 different employees before I drove all the way from Chicago and they specifically told me to come in the store. I said are you sure you can work on a water damaged Samsung? They told me YES TWICE.

Read moreI came in for an ethernet repair on my ps4. I was told by them that they can fix it. After a few days I got a call saying my HDMI port, they tested it and it was fixed. I told them that's not what it was in for. They had to confer with the tech and get back to me. They then called the next day and said that the tech did not in fact "repair the HDMI port" and they are waiting to see if the ethernet port was fixed or not. Once they found out it wasn't fixable, I was told they had to send it out to another place that can fix more intricate things like this. I asked how long it would take and was told 2-3 weeks cause of the holidays. I understand that. Then I asked if this other place will in fact be able to repair it. I was assured they would because they have more tools and such to be able to do it. Now almost a month later I get a call saying that it wasn't able to be repaired.
All around I'm happy with I believe his name is Ben's service. Very helpful and professional. But on the whole as a company, I'm fairly upset that all this time was wasted for nothing. And being told it could be fixed then it couldn't be. As well as being told that a repair was done, albeit the wrong repair, then telling me it actually wasn't done. Basically I'm mad about being lied to and the seemingly poor communication inside the company and with the solder house.
I am thankful I did not have to pay for any of this, and the Playstation is working minus the issue it was brought in for. Things need to be better in the future with communication amongst the workers and support locations. This isnt a new piece of equipment that no one knows how to fix yet. This is a ps4, its been out for at least 6 yrs now. A lot of time was wasted, when a few inquiries could have been done to find out the fix...
