I'll give it four stars. Sadly, this location is dying. I grew up on this side of town and this was the mall I would ride my bike to especially when they had the arcade in there.
The downfall of the location starts with Towne East Square being larger and having more store options. Towne East also has a prime location with easy access from the highway and a busy major street. Towne West sits along two highways with no easy access from either. One of the roads you would use to access it, you can't even see it from and still requires a bit of extra maneuvering. The one road it sits off of is hardly what you would call busy.
Next on it's slow stroll off a steep cliff is the double edged sword of supply and demand. Less foot traffic means fewer stores and fewer stores mean less foot traffic.
Next is online shopping. This one put a hurt on all brick and mortar stores. A few of my favorite local stores (non-mall related stores, just a side track) have moved over to online only.
TL;DR: store is dying and I...
ย ย ย Read moreI grew up going to this mall for my entire youth years! Soooo many memories! I even remember as a child I loved coming to the mall because they used to have a pet store and I loved looking at the animals ๐ I also loved Sabarro's pizza, what a treat. I really hope that this mall can make a huge come back and reflect its former glory. I would really hate to see this mall become a Twin Lakes or Wichita Mall type of story line. I will say this they are doing their best to hang in there. They do a great job at house keeping and restrooms are typically very clean. Security is visible and monitors the mall.
I visit here weekly to walk and do shop still. Glad to see that the movie theater is back, I will give it a go soon.
I see the mall is becoming more diverse in supporting small local businesses. Alot of independent sellers and shops are opening up.
If you ever thought about opening a business of your own this could be a good place to put...

One of the security guards took out his phone and took a picture of me without my consent then he walks my direction and looks at me if im going to commit some kind of crime. I felt highly uncomfortable later i saw him nd was kind enough to greet him he just stares at me and keeps walking with out saying nothing. Im from out of town and ive been to other states and not once i had a security guards had taken a picture of me. The worst part he tried to play it off but forgot to turn off his flash like i wouldn't noticed. On top of this incident upon entering the mall a condom was right in front where everyone can see i literally saw the security guard walk past it many times and didn't pick it up. I took the initiative to pick it up myself and...
