PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW! I AM A VEGAN - and I not only put five stars because I want this to be read, but because this place honestly deserves it. I went to this place before we went home because it was the only pizza place on the entire board walk that had a true vegan pizza and made Food with vegan options. (no, I didn’t have the order a cheese list pizza yet again with a bunch of vegetables) they actually have real vegan pizza with cheese and meatballs and it’s just amazing! I’m not even kidding. I got a cone pizza and it’s literally was so good that I had wished I had gotten three, but we were already driving home as it was late. I also made a mistake where I had no idea what a pizza cone was-so originally I ordered an entire pizza but then when I saw a picture of the pizza cone, I had to change my entire order to a cone and the owner was extremely nice about it and did it. No questions asked even though it was a lot cheaper that I would be paying. The young man who made my pizza cone, did such an amazing job! He layered it perfectly, loaded it perfectly. It was like amazing. (I wish I had gotten his name so I could write a special thanks, but I didn’t-however he was blonde and was working Sunday night around 7 o’clock) but they are an amazing pizza place especially for vegans if you are vegan or if you are vegetarian, but ESPECIALLY if you are vegan, you must try this place. The food is good!!! I will definitely be visiting this place and ordering their pizza, pizza cones and more every single time I go to Wild Wood! I wish I had discovered them sooner! Their pizza and sauce was so good that honestly it’s very comparable to Mack’s. (however, Macks pizza doesn’t have the vegan options that this place does… and Macks pizza doesn’t have pizza cones) The sauce is excellent, and the vegan cheese that they use in the vegan meatballs are just amazing. So yeah, give it a try and review them five stars because literally that’s the best way I can give my thanks. Thank you so much for having vegan options that is more than just vegetables and bread. (Ps. when you order a pizza cone-order more than one-trust me, I didn’t think it would be as good as it was, and it really was amazing and I had wished I had...
Read moreI made it a point to come here every year when visiting wildwood and was really excited about the fact they had vegan options. Within 20 min of eating it, i projectile vomited so hard that I broke a blood vessel in my face. was not drunk, btw. I know a lot of people are down there. Food has never made me so sick before and it doesn’t happen nearly as often as a vegan. I don’t know if the girl making it didn’t make it vegan (it tasted and Felt like vegan cheese) and that’s what made me puke or if it was just simply bad. Either way, it’s sad I won’t be coming back now and I would not recommend anyone try the vegan options.
ETA- I said the cheese tasted fine, I don’t think it was bad. What I think happened, well actually what I know since I watched her is your girl digging her hands in the regular cheese for my friends and then making mine with the same gloves. Maybe she got a few regular cheese pieces into mine which would absolutely make me violently ill since im allergic to dairy. Your cone was the only thing I ate that night and the only thing I puked up so I’m just saying, it’s you,...
Read moreWe stopped in our first day to try a pizza cone. It was unique, something different to have instead of the same old everything on the boardwalk. It was so good, we wound up sampling almost everything in the menu over the next 5 days of our visit. The egg rolls are all amazing, Roberto makes them all by hand. We tried every flavor of them over our visit, he will mix and match the flavors for you when you order a set of 3. Also ask for ranch dipping sauce with them. I like pizza egg rolls the best but my kids like the buffalo chicken. The fried mushrooms are great. He has a specialty fryer that crisps the outside to perfection but doesn't leave the inside greasy. Also, surprisingly, he definitely has the best pizza on the boardwalk and I think it might be the most reasonably priced. It's true NY style, has a nice thin crust, and it's cooked to perfection. We tried most of the pizza on the boardwalk and enjoyed Roberto's pizza the best. It's worth the walk since he's literally the last place to eat on the southern end of the...
