Wow, So i've actually been here before, long before i started writing reviews. Little Italy is a nice italian restaurant, with amazing decor, and plays italian music from italy. They have both tables and booths, and one can also order takeout from them and pick it up there. Every time we been here, everyone has been polite. I also think that this place does have better italian food in wildwood, besides another place i won't name. They are a bring your own booze place, so if you want alcohol, you'd have to get it yourself. Went here recently on Wednesday August 7th 2024 with my parents as part of our Cape May/Wildwood Trip. After stopping at nearby Green's Liquor to get some vodkas, we then came here to eat. We came here for their early bird special where they open at 4/5PM and have special priced food. Which is essentially a little less expensive than when dinner comes around at 5. We did wait until the doors were unlocked and opened up- and there were a few people who also came for the early bird special. We were greeted with a smile by a host, who sat us. We sat in the front near a window at a table, which was comfortable. Our server greeted us right away. At first we ordered waters, and decided to look over the menu first. We also ordered a pitcher of sprite to mix with our alcohol. We then started with an appetizer order of Fried Zuccini Sticks, which were very good, as one could taste the vegetable. Enjoyed them! For entrees, my dad ordered the early bird special shrimp scampi, my mom ordered the early bird special veal parm, and i ordered Penne ala Vodka with Meatball. First, all Early bird meals come with salad or soup, My mom and dad got salad, and i ate the onions. Then before you know it our food came! I enjoyed the penne pasta, and my parents both enjoyed their meals as well. The only con was, I didn't like the meatball, as it tasted bland. My mom tasted it and didn't like it either. Funny thing is i also liked it on my first bite. Also the waitress should have checked on us more, i mean for the most part we were all good, and i ate my pasta and enjoyed it so. I believe my dad took his food home, and got a box. We got the check and paid with a credit card and left a cash tip. Hope to be back here next year!

Came here Saturday night because it’s my sisters favorite restaurant, not mine. Server was AMAZING! I gave a 1 star for pricing, pricing was ridiculous and no justification for it. Asked for milk with my daughters kids meal, $5 for a to go cup size. A gallon of milk is cheaper than what they charged me. Two people got unlimited refills on soda and it was only $3 a person, yet an 16 cup of milk was almost the same price for two and she had 1. I asked for a side of plain penne pasta, no sauce, butter, cheese etc. Received a salad plate portion for $11, I could get 11 POUNDS of pasta at the grocery store for that! Heck, my ‘upgraded’ Cesar salad was cheaper and lettuce is more expensive than pasta! I noticed this as I was attaching the photo, that a dinner portion of penne and 1 meatball, $26! HOW?! I’d have written them privately about this, but they still haven’t read or replied to a message I sent them in July of 2020.

Great Italian food down the shore. Wait times can vary from 20 minutes to an hour at this restaurant. The restaurant decor is very nice and houses two large rooms for indoor seating. The service was excellent and recommended a flounder special which we tried. We ordered the stuffed flounder grated special which included melted mozzarella, a sauce with stuffed crab meat. The special was excellent! We also ordered a spaghetti with meatballs (excellent too) and the shrimp scampi which was good too. The shrimp scampi and the flounder special was large enough where either plate could have been shared with two people ($3 additional sharing fee added if you share). Overall we left very very full and very please with our meal. Would highly recommend this place when visiting Wildwood. 😉 Tip: this place is a BYOB so don’t forget your wine before visiting. Several liquor stores are located just blocks from the location.

Overall Review - Very Disappointing, Service - Very Disappointing, Food - Very Disappointing Any Attempt By the Restaurant to Correct Situation - None, Very Dissatisfied We've been coming to Wildwood on and off for over 30yrs and the Little Italy Restaurant since right after they opened. We always make it a point to visit the restaurant when we are in town, the food was always great and the staff on point. This year seems to be the exception, Our family went there on Thursday, July 27th, there were 14 of us in our party. Since we went there early they were able to accommodate us pretty fast. Our server came over introduced herself, told us that she had been working there for 20yrs. We all placed our orders, I got the 6oz Tenderloin, medium w/baked potato & veggies. The food arrived at the table and my steak was placed in front of me. It looked a bit off so I cut it opened It was overcooked, I don't like to waste food so I tried to eat it but it was too tough and dry to eat. I said something to our waitress and she did take it back to get a new one but by the time the new one came out everyone else had finished eating and I had filled up on the potato & veggies. Two others in our party also had their orders messed up. Our Aunt ordered chicken parm and instead received Veal Parm & my Father In/law ordered fish and when it came it was overcooked, had a really bad taste to it that he was unable to eat it, totally uneditable. I guess I was the lucky one even if it did come at the end of the meal at least my order was fixed. When they said something to the waitress they basically received an "Oh Well", no offer to replace it, get something else, or have their meals removed from off our bill. Then when we get the bill it had been broken down for us into 2 tables. We were over there trying to figure out why our bill wasn't adding up and trying to figure out the tip while our waitress stood behind us impatiently watching and listening to everything basically trying to rush us so that we wouldn't notice that the tip was already added into the bill and it appears that our waitress was just going to stand there not saying anything and let us tip her twice. I understand that at most places gratuity is included in the bill when there are large parties but normally it is always clearly stated so when she saw what was going on the helpful thing would have been to explain the situation instead of trying to double dip. On the way out we said something again about the meals and pretty much received the same response. The general overall attitude from the staff was "Oh Well, not...

We’ve been going here for years and we were so excited to go this year but were greeted by the most unprofessional host.

We had a reservation of 5 at 7pm and called to let them know we were running a little late. The lady on the phone said that was okay and not to worry.

Once we arrived I went in to let the host know we were there just so they were aware we made our booking as it was a little after 7. The host did not let me speak and was absolutely rude. He said “are you Bre?” I said “no I’m..” then he didn’t let me even explain that I just wanted to let him know we were there a little late. He spoke over me told me if I wasn’t Bre to go wait outside. I again tried to explain that I just wanted to let him know we had made it and hopefully our booking was still there (as the lady on the phone confirmed it was ok). He gave me such attitude and told us to go outside.

We went outside to wait and my family and I were talking about what happened and over the microphone he announced “OH YEA THATS EXACTLY HOW IT HAPPENED!” (As he was watching me speak with my family) With an undermining unprofessional tone through the microphone. Then we had the courtesy to go in and let him know we no longer wanted to eat there and as we were leaving he again announced on the microphone “OK NOW A TABLE AT 7 HAS DROPPED”.

The attitude and unhelpfulness was absurd. Our family had been eating here as a family tradition every year for the past TEN YEARS. It was so upsetting and unnecessary. Get a new host with better manners and...
