Lafate Gallery — Attraction in Wilmington

Meeting Eunice LaFate at her gallery in Wilmington, DE was one of the most memorable parts of our recent trip. I visited with my two children, and Ms. LaFate immediately engaged them in the most thoughtful way—asking what they wanted to be when they grew up. My son said he wanted to join the military, and my daughter said she hoped to become a nurse. To our surprise, she gifted them each a signed original greeting card of her artwork that matched their aspirations.

Her kindness, vibrant spirit, and storytelling made a lasting impression on all of us. She even took the time to take photos with us and share some truly inspiring moments from her life and journey as an artist and gallery owner.
