My fiancé is the one who lived at 2nd and LOMA, but unfortunately his computer was now allowing him to write a review. He lived in this apartment complex from September 2021-September 22, and I had the pleasure of visiting him numerous times. We absolutely loved these apartments. The first thing that stood out to me when we toured was how on top of things Pat (who works the front desk) is. She knew every resident by name, and even knew which ones had a package in the front desk. It was an incredible attention to detail and care for the residents. This was true throughout the entire stay at the unit. Pat, as well as the other employees at the front desk, were incredibly kind, knowledgable, and helpful at all times. I cannot commend the staff at 2nd & LOMA highly enough. One note on this-packages can only be picked up from 9-5 Monday-Friday. If you work away from home during those hours, make sure you have a plan to obtain your packages. Staff was always willing to work with us, and they let you know as soon as a package arrives, so we never had any issues. This is true for maintenance as well. They were always quick to respond, courteous, and always able to solve the issue at hand. The one notation I will make is that the smoke alarms are the kind that must be turned off by maintenance-- do not touch the smoke alarm if it goes off. Call maintenance ASAP to get it turned off. The units themselves are very nice. One very cool thing about them is that each unit is unique; no two are alike. My particular unit was a studio apartment. Although the square footage had some of my friends and family worried that it would be too small, the unit was designed in such a way that I was never short on storage or space. The in-unit washer and dryer is fantastic. The location is great as well. You are a 5 minute walk maximum from the Amtrak station, a shorter walk from multiple bus stations, 5 minutes from the waterfront, and 3-5 minutes from a number of shops and restaurants. We absolutely loved the neighborhood, and we made great friends with several of our neighbors. We will greatly miss 2nd&LOMA and would recommend...
Read moreI moved here from Cheltenham Pa. a year and a half ago. Born and raised in Philadelphia. I never thought in my life that I would live downtown, not to mentioned moving to a different state. I really TRULY believe that I hit the jackpot by moving here. Everything is so convenient. I can walk to the Market, Coffee shop, and Movie Theater. This section is quite but still with that downtown feel. Definitely your never be bored. There are many activities, jazz shows, festivals. Also if you just wanted to relax, you can that as well in one of the courtyards. Staff here is on point with any maintenance if any. This is my new home but I95 is right around the corner when I need my PHILLY love. If I had to leave here, I would go back to Philly because this is the only place in Delaware, I would...
