I visited this park for the first time last Sunday. The park is huge and kept fairly clean. For the number of people, vendors, and food trucks that were there, i was impressed. The infamous Wilmington Chester Mass choir, of which my niece Laurie Brown, is a member, appeared here, and presented the people with a mini concert. The choir was excellent! Harmony was tight. They call it the August Quarterly. They be been doing it for 5 years at this location! Park is spacious and sits right by the river. Plenty of room for people and events. I kept hearing how this year's lines had less wait time than previous event years, which is scary because we waited for no less than 40 mins in each line. They diddnt have good directions on how the festivities work, for example there was no signage to let you knkw or direct you that there were shuttle busses to take you to the exact location and that there was a specific parking lot area to park for the event.
