First time review for this location. 1 hour session.

Technique (9/10) I tend toward hard pressure, with the exception of a few problem areas. The technique of the provider I had was a unique experience. She was very hard and very sharp in certain areas of the back. I shall call it almost primal and rough. I do not mind a certain level of pain, but this was close to my limit. The exceptional part was how well this relaxed me and my muscles. There were a few times during the session that, if it had not been so sharp, I probably would have fallen asleep. When I left, I was so relaxed all over that walking and even vision was limited. Sat in my car for a bit to get my bearings. No recommended changes at this time. Quite impressive. Environment (8/10) - Maybe due to time of day or physical location, most of the noise was subdued. No ringing phones that I could hear. Minimal traffic noise. Music and sound effects were . No detectable smells or incense. My only recommendation would be a little more sound dampening. Energy (6/10) - I know this has many factors and is hard to narrow down. Energy of the provider and location was good. Better than most places. Being that this was my first visit, I expect part of this rating was just getting in tune with this provider. If I have the same provider next time , I can see this rating going up. Extras (9/10) - Hot Stones - I have had hot stones at many locations but this was one of the best experiences. Actually hot not just very warm. Would have preferred smoother stones but still very nice. Hot oil - again, had this at other locations, but much better experience than average.

I went in this place a week ago and it was really cold and snowing and I thought I would give this place a call and warm up with a shower and a massage. 240 dollars later in a not so warm place and a very cold lady to give me a nice warm table shower and a massage she never said anything to but turn over and threw me a towel and left. I found the robe and slippers and walked out and she pointed to the room and I said thank you for the shower. She did not say anything to me. So, after $240 for the shower and no massage I left. There are so many nice Asian massage places in the city and they do everything to make you relaxed and leave with a smile on your face. I thought I would give this place a try! Never again folks! As a massage therapist myself, I'm appreciative of the attention to care my wife and I received from our massage therapists. We got a couple's massage and viche scrub. It was heavenly. They complimented us on our skin and suggested we didn't need it, but continued per our request being very delicate with us. The massage was amazing! They stretched, compressed, and worked out kinks w/o ANY discomfort. I was dealing with a piriformis issue and she got in there and released it - baby...when I say I walked in slow and in discomfort but walked out like I had a whole new body, I am not kidding.
