An absolute must! I took a day trip out with a friend of mine to explore Winston Salem, and we were super pleased that Design Archives Vintage and Handmade Emporium was open on Labor Day! My friend found a beautiful vintage skirt & there were so many treasures. I have never seen this much variety in vintage clothing options under any roof. I took many pictures to help show you what they offer. My advice is to check their hours and just go! PS there is the most superb bookstore and attached coffee & tea shop nearby. Loved my visit to this store. Happened upon it accidentally, but found all its odds and ends right up my alley. It's true, " One's junk is truly another's treasure.". Lots of different items to see, and a little something for everyone artsy or nostalgic.

I LOVE this shop. There’s tons of things in here so you’ll never get bored. They offer different local vendors and different styles for everyone. You can find good vintage pieces and items including scarves, jewelry, clothing...pretty much everything! You can find some modern looks to vintage tees to 80s jackets..everything. There’s also a vendor for bath & beauty as well. They have a nice range of vintage shoe collection as well. Prices depend on the vendor and the item. They also have a room where you can try your item on. Staff here is very friendly and sweet as well. Bought a ring here that was never in my bag and I came back and the manager helped me out. They have parking in front and also on the other sides of the road. If you’re in the area and you love vintage items I definitely recommend coming in here and looking around. LISTEN!!! I walked in and immediately felt as if I had walked into antique heaven!! My style is VERY 90's with a touch of a rustic antique vibe (sorta like a Erykah Badu/Denise Huxtable mix) lol... So this store has EVERYTHING to elevate and add to my summer wardrobe. When I travel, looking for thrift and antiques stores are ALWAYS on my list to find. A great bonus about this place is, they're very inexpensive. I now have discovered my local missing link to my wardrobe lol. So if your a lover of antiques and fashions this place is...
