Kayaking at Dinky Dock – A Must-Visit Spot!
Dinky Dock is amazing! A few safety tips: always bring your life vest and go early, ideally between 6 AM and 10 AM. After 10, tour groups start arriving with kayaks, jet skis, and boat tours, which can crowd the area.
Weekdays are best for a peaceful experience. If you must go on the weekend, get there early. Pro tip: head to the left of the dock, you’ll find a calm river that boats and jet skis can't enter, making it perfect for kayakers.
The lake is huge, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy Florida’s beautiful weather. Families often gather to swim, BBQ, and relax. There's a public bathroom toward the back of the parking lot and a free parking area, including spots for trailers.
Important: Do not park in the apartment lot to the left. Police patrol frequently and give tickets.
Enjoy, stay safe, and don’t forget to follow for more...

I know the parking lot is small and hoped the week day would provide better access. We arrived to find no available spaces. While I stayed with our boats my friend drove around to find additional parking. FYI: There isn't any. Parking is available on Park Ave which is a long walk away. The residents of the building next to dinky dock use this lot as their personal spaces. I saw a few Rollins decals parked there as well. I returned from my paddle to find a 25$ parking fine stating I was not in a space. Did the Rolling vehicles have tickets? Nope, I looked. Did the residents next door have tickets? Nope. Don't bother parking here it's a scam for...
