Gelato-go Orlando — Restaurant in Winter Park

I love Gelato-go! This is definitely in the running for one of the best ice cream/gelato places in all of Orlando. Right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, you can’t miss it! It’s a sleek-looking Italian gelato shop with a wide array of flavor options. Some of them are quite unique, and I’ve tried quite a few already - VERY VERY GOOD!! I have tried tiramisu ice cream at a lot of different ice cream shops over the years before (because I love tiramisu as a dessert), and no place can get the flavor right. Gelato-go is the first one that actually does. It literally tasted like actual tiramisu - it’s awesome!

I also love their pistachio, Italian hot chocolate, strawberry, and mascarpone flavors…honestly, you really can’t go wrong with anything. If you’re a chocolate person, get the Italian hot chocolate if they have it because it’s fantastic! Do keep in mind they rotate their flavors regularly, so they won’t have the same flavors every day. All in all, a fantastic gelato shop, and definitely a place I will be coming...

I’ll start saying gelato it’s great !!! First time here and last time, costumer service is HORRIBLE . The woman that was working today had an horrible attitude, we walk in with a little dog , she didn’t even say hi welcome, all she said was that’s a service dog ? Cause you can’t come in here. There’s nowhere that says they are not allow either way we just placed our order, she was annoyed for some reason, as soon as I payed she told me I could sign, there’s an option for the tip, I didn’t tip her. She got super mad and said that’s it, bye and she left. Just as a reminder and as a business owner myself, I’m not obligated to tip you just to scoop a gelato on a cup, you are being payed for that. Tip is an appreciation for a great service, which we didn’t have at all, we totally understand if dogs can come in, but her attitude was super off since we walked in. When a friend comes back from vacation, what is one thing that always happens? The ultimately tell you about the amazing food that they ate wherever they went. Whether it was a bratwurst in Germany or a paella in Spain, they will rave about the food and how they cannot find it back home. Well, being Italian, yes, sono Italiano, gelato is something i grew up with and cannot easily find here in Florida. I'm sorry to say but Jeremiah's Italian ice and Publix ice cream, is not gelato.
