Pretty good food, but truly awful service from one member of the staff ruined my group’s experience here. The waitress gave us inaccurate information, blamed us for her mistakes, and hit us with a disrespectful attitude when she tried to hand us food we did not order.
(1) It started when my group was never given menus. After maybe 15 minutes, we eventually grabbed the menus ourselves for our table.
(2) It continues when we go up to order at the register, which on its own strikes me as odd, given the price point of the establishment. One of our orders comes with the choice of ice cream flavor, so the waitress walks us over to the display case and describes the flavors for us. When we ask what a certain one is, she insists that there are duplicate flavors, even though the bins have different colored ice cream. Her coworker corrects her and tells us the actual flavors. By itself, this is no big deal. However, this was just the first instance of the waitress giving us inaccurate information.
(3) After returning to our table, I check my receipt and realize that even though I ordered both food and drink, only my food order was rung up. I assume I won’t be receiving the drink I ordered, and this assumption is eventually proven correct. Since I wasn’t charged for it, I just give up on it and accept the loss.
(4) This last incident was really the catalyst. The first item brought out is a sandwich. The waitress tells us it is one type of sandwich, so we pass it to the person who ordered the sandwich she described. Several minutes later, the waitress brings out what she describes as the second instance of the same sandwich that she first brought out. My group glances around, confused because no one else ordered the same sandwich. We inform the waitress that none of us ordered it, and she argues back in an accusatory tone, “Well, I rung it up, so one of you must have ordered it.” After some back and forth, it is revealed that she told us the wrong type for the sandwich that was first brought out. This could be an honest and forgivable mistake, if not for her attitude before and then reaction afterwards. By this point, that first sandwich is already half eaten, so the person who it should’ve gone to has already missed out on half of what they ordered. When we point this out, the waitress replies with fake enthusiasm, “Well, you can go splitsies then! Isn’t that fun? Now you can sample each other’s sandwiches!” Considering that the reason for the switch up was her misinforming us, and if we wanted to share food, we would’ve planned that when we ordered, this was an appalling response. I was so fed up with her by this point that I calmly yet firmly requested that a new sandwich be made so the person in my group could receive what they actually ordered, not be forced to eat a sandwich they didn’t actually want. This request was eventually granted.
OVERALL OPINION: Nice interior, diverse selections, a little pricey for the portions, but overall pretty good food. I would have returned and possibly even recommended this place to others, but because of the worst customer service I have ever encountered, I will not be returning here, and I will share my negative experience with anyone who asks...

Read moreBithja with Offline - Went on a Thursday evening. The ambiance was nice. The decor was cute. The inside seats are VERY low unless you use the 1 high top. 2 single stall restrooms. The cosmopolitan was delicious. Cashless establishment.
THE APPLE & BRIE CROISSANT: should be renamed the Brie Croissant with the apple being added in the ingredients right before the honey drizzle. The sandwich was very good but there was 1, maybe 2, slices of apple in the whole croissant so it was misleading. The added crunch would've been a very nice balance to the softness of everything else.
THE PROSCIUTTO AND FIG CROISSANT: same issue as above. Should be renamed the Prosciutto Croissant with the fig being added in the ingredients below. There was a smear/swipe of fig in the middle of the sandwich that you could almost miss if you're not paying attention. Still a good sandwich, just not for what it is named.
THE HOUSE SALAD: The chocolate Vinegarette was unexpected and delicious. Paired well with the cheese and strawberries.
For being a place where you can sit down and enjoy the environment, I feel like having patrons pay up front limits their income possibility. Sitting at the table, not in a rush to leave, I am more likely to order another drink or grab a slice of cake I wasn't anticipating. But to have to swipe my card for every transaction deters me from ordering more. Maybe open tabs for your guests and keep their card until they check...
