Go to Ulta down the street instead!!! Honestly I am a fan of Sephora and their products, but I have now been to this location three separate times for make up applications and every time they act like doing someone’s make up is a chore. Today I was 20 minutes late to my appointment because I had a work meeting but I had paid for a one hour session so I kindly ask them if they could do a mini instead and some lashes, they hesitated like it was a huge pain and looked at each other like it would be such a hassle. Even if they had a 2 o’clock Coming they could’ve done partial make up for me in 35 minutes! I have my make up done professionally all the time and it takes about a full hour to do everything for events. They finally agreed to do my eye make up, no lashes!, but they phoned in the work ( it looks okay but nothing to instagram here!) and they had zero passion for their job and acted like they were doing me a favor when I am a client, paying money, within my hour, and have been in there already twice this week and bought items. Sephora is a makeup store. If you are short staffed all the time hire more staff. In my experience leading business organizations you do everything you can to try for the client and you have a positive attitude about it. “My response would’ve been let’s get you sat down and started and see how much we can do before the 2 o’clock appointment gets here! I’m excited to be using my passion to make someones day.” Either corporate is not giving them a big enough budget to staff make up artist or this location is missed managed. Out of the four times I have had my make up done at this location only one time was I pleased with the employee and her excitement to do the job! Im sure they are all nice people in their daily lives but your love for your work isnt showing! Read moreThis is the first time I called this location But definitely NOT the first time I called a Sephora for this same reason. I called at approximately 2:30pm on a Tuesday. Even google maps stayed it was not a busy time for this location. I am a Rouge level member and have been the highest tier member for four years now and have yet to be able to get scheduled for even ONE makeup application because EVERY time I call to schedule, they ask my availability, put me on hold for several minutes, come back on the line and report that they are “soooo sorry but they only have an appointment at (insert one hour AFTER I told them I would NOT be available). This location was no different. SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE! Either I am the most unlucky person in the WORLD... OR... this is the BIGGEST SCAM in the WORLD! I gave two stars ONLY because the lady who came back on the phone to say they didn’t have any appointments during the 4 hour window I asked about was pleasant but the female who answered was simply rude and condescending so SHE GETS NEGATIVE STARS! However, the friendly lady could have just been taking pleasure in the power trip of being able to say NO even if they may have had availability. Read moreWhen I walked into this Sephora, I was nervous. I've never been in a physical location because the wrong idea of employees circling made me hesitant. I was greeted by three lovely ladies who asked if I needed help, and I blurted out "Yes please, someone who is patient..." I think I may have said it a bit too loud because even customers turned and looked at me.
When they asked what I came in for, I admitted that I wanted to look for makeup but I had no idea what I was doing because I've never worn it. They set me up with Anna. Let me just say, she was amazing. She made me feel SO GOOD about myself. Despite what I came in there for, she assured me that I had wonderful skin and didn't need to cover it with makeup - Instead, she showed me some affordable skincare to help with my hyperpigmentation concerns. By the time I left the store, my confidence was lifted more than it has been in weeks. Anna is a doll, and I hope that she's there if I ever need to go back to that location. Thank you, Anna.
