If you want a good place to see the lake, and walk on the beach,, this is a bit less crowded, and beautiful. It won't be a well kept secret if too many people post about it, 😁 but I was so impressed with its beauty. I happened to be there on a record cold day when I took these pictures. The beach we walked in the Fall was covered in ice mounds, but part of it was still accessible. How much? Who knows!! I was too cold to explore! If you're a polar bear and have extra warm boots, you could still walk the beach in -54 windchill. Me, I prefer Southern Florida beaches in the Winter! You can walk quite a ways after the ice melts. There was plenty of less crowded/open beach area, as I walked along. It was a lengthy beach! There were so many beautiful rocks that made the water look lively with colors.
