Finally, the atmosphere of the Schooner Pub is simply magical. It's cozy and inviting, with a comfortable, unpretentious vibe that makes everyone feel at home.    Read moreI have been ordering from here for over two years and I must admit I have always enjoyed my food. I came in on Monday, August 25 and order the same meal I always order. My cheese curbs were undercooked where the cheese in the middle was still hard. The breading was soggy and looks like it was only fried for one minute. My onion rings were soggy with wet batter and I had a bloody cheeseburger. I contacted the restaurant by phone and told them of my concern and my displeasure for my meal I was told that someone will call me back in 10 to 15 minutes as of today I have still failed to receive a phone call so I went online to their website and sent an email and told them my concern there. I also let them know that I was not going to do a public review because everybody have bad days and today must have been a bad day. Still no response so I called the restaurant today to avoid my concern once again And there I was rudely spoken to voice was raised at me as if I was an enemy I was told there was nothing we can do for you. You will not get a refund. There was nothing wrong with your food and we donât care. I asked to speak to a manager, Chuck Who I spoke to told me the manager was busy and I can talk to him. He was very rude, very nasty and seemed as if he was having a bad day. I donât know if this week Shooners is having a bad experience. And taking it out on me, but for someone to patronize your place for two years, bring her company in order over $200 worth of food at times And to be treated with such disrespect is displeasing to a food industry. To the young man, I spoke to all of the negative things you say to me I reverse them and send them back towards you...
Read moreHi! When I was 17 (over the summer) I was on a trip with my dad and he wanted to stop and get a drink and we had been out fishing for a couple hours and I could have used a glass of water. So we walked into the first bar we saw, I think my dad ordered a drink and I was trying to ask for a glass of ice water (I have a tendency to faint when I am too warm)the bartender began to yell at me and tell me that I had to leave because I was too young. When I tried to explain that I was on a trip with my dad and didnât have a mom and I just wanted a water. I even said Iâd stand outside if they just let me have a cup of water while my dad had a beer. A blonde bartender kicked me out and was EXTREMELY RUDE to me and forced me to go. I would never go back here neither would my dad. I understand that establishments in WI are allowed to choose to serve to children with their parents, but I just wanted a water. I donât understand why she had to scream and yell and make a scene. I had approached the bar for water when the woman began yelling. It was probably 2 or 3pm. They were extremely extremely rude to me because I was a child that asked for water and they thought that they could be rude to a kid and not have any future problems because of that. I am sure that they could tell we werenât from the area as well. I would never recommend them to anyone. They...
