The Cosmetics Company Store — Attraction in Woodstock

If you are a fan of any of the Estée Lauder brands like Bobbie Brown, Tom Ford, Bumble and Bumble, Aveda, Clinique, Becca, Origins, Smashbox, Glamglow, Mac, Too Faced and of course Estée Lauder including the Renutrive Line, this is the place for you. Think about all of these awesome brands at 40% -75% off retail. I am talking current selling factory sealed merchandise. The best part is the outstanding customer service with their excellent product knowledge.

I have been shopping at EL Company Stores since I found the first one in the Saks Outlet at Discover Mills about 20 years ago (now closed). They have another location at the North Georgia Outlets but this one in Woodstock is by far my favorite. It’s new, well organized with more inventory and plenty of space to shop and sample (of course sampling is a bit limited during COVID-19).

Every time I go in for one thing I come out with at least a half dozen only having spent the same or a little more than what my intended purchase of one item would have cost at the mall or specialty store. Furthermore, I feel like the service is so much better and the sales consultants know the brands better than the pushy sales people working on commission in mall stores.

They usually have a special running that typically starts on Thursdays which ends up getting you 30-50% off your entire purchase. They often have close out pricing too at 60 - 75% original retail and it’s not necessarily on discontinued items.

I was just in yesterday looking for a foundation that has been discontinued by Estée Lauder. While I didn’t find it, the delightful associate recommended another top selling foundation that turned out to be even better at a quarter of the price of the EL product and I got it half off the Sephora Price. I walked out with $200 worth of current selling merchandise only having spent $74. I also noticed they had some Christmas sets in from some of their brands and she said they should be getting in more. They too were included in the current week promotion.

Of course inventory levels change and due to COVID it’s a bit lower than what I am used to but they still had what I was looking for and more.

This store is located in a great little outdoor outlet mall close to Atlanta with plenty of other stores to make your trip...

I don’t wear makeup, but I do glide on a little lipstick to perk up my face. I’d never been in this store, so I thought I’d go in with my daughter 9/11/21. We were greeted upon entering. I was looking for red matte finish Mac lipstick. The sales associate was working by herself, but she acknowledged EVERY customer in that store! She took special time explaining and locating testers for me for Mac. She explained about the 60% off and which box would be the better deal. She even put the lipstick that I was interested in on the back of her hand so I could see how it looked on her skin-tone. Her name is Roni-Jeannette N. She was absolutely AHHHMAZING! She’s EXCELLENT at customer service and is GREAT at multitasking! I bought the package she suggested for me! Be sure to go checkout their store! Free parking, other shops in surrounding area. Affordable prices. I will visit again when I’m in Woodstock!...

Love the store!! However they need to train their employees on customer service. I’m a frequent visitor to the Locust Grove location and their customer service is on point. My friend and I recently visited the Woodstock location and when I walked in both employees (Tafaria and a guy) just stood there and looked at us. When a white woman walked in after us they greeted her. While in the store they never asked us if we needed help. I went to the counter and asked for the price of an item and Tafaria gave me the wrong price until I had to correct her. I asked her if she could contact the other location to see if they had a product and she told me “you need to call them on the phone and ask”. I’ve always been able to have the associate check the other locations, but she had a bad attitude and would not assist.
