This is a GREAT park!! This is a dog friendly park!! Went here on 8/10/25 with my two little dogs to give them a proper walk! I went early in the morning to beat the heat! 😉 Because of this, it wasn't super crowded! My dogs enjoyed their walk as did I! Remember, clean up after your pets to keep the park clean! Don't be lazy, just pick up their poop! 🙂

There seem to be several trails that you are able to choose from. These trails are great for biking, running and walking. I took one that just goes around the big pond! Looks like the paths have trees that provide some nice shade! If you go to the parks website, in the menu, you can download a PDF of the trails available! 👍🏻

There are a lot of amenities such as covered pavilions for picnics, picnic tables, charcoal grills, horses shoe pits, baseball fields, playground areas, a community center, a pool, sand volleyball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, fishing and probably a bunch of other amenities that I didn't notice! A lot of fun things to do here. Apparently they do lots of activities/events at this park. I'm trying to find a calendar that shows the scheduled events.

The main pond has a cool little fountain in it. There is some wildlife that likes to hang around the ponds as well! 🙂

Great park to go to that is close and a place where you can just relax! Will definitely be going back here often! I would recommend this park...

Visiting City Park for its Christmas light display is tradition for a lot of people, and for good reason! It costs nothing, its easy to follow social distancing, and it's very pretty!

Just be warned that it's not guaranteed that you'll get a parking spot. This is a very popular attraction around this time of year, so if you want to walk around you're either going to have to get there early to snag a parking spot, or you are going to have to park somewhere else and walk all...

Really enjoyed the Christmas Lights at the Yukon City Park. Visited here every year except the Covid year! It’s always been an excellent end to Thanksgiving and a great start to the Christmas season. Nothing better than sitting in a vehicle, listening to Christmas music, eating a donut and sipping on a hot drink as we drive around the park enjoying the very cool...

This is totally one of the best parks I went to. I got to see alot of the trees and it reminds me of walking in a forest (it feels like it) and it’s so peaceful and so relaxing. I would come back and experience this again, and also the park is so peaceful and everything is just so nice and I also love the playground and everything in between.

Beautiful park. Perfect place to walk and enjoy nature. The walking trails are well kept, trash free, and most of all SAFE. Christmas In The Park is exceptional...especially walking IN the park. It gets better and better each year. The trails are peaceful. The playground sounds are robust.
