Five Below — Local services in Oklahoma City

Do not buy mascaras from Five Below. I made a mascara purchase & it was dried up. I went 2 days later with my receipt. The clerk advised me as I walked through the door that this store would be closing in 15 minutes. I stated, I just wanted to bring something back. She snapped Got a Recept? I told her it was dried up, she opens the mascara & tries looking down the tube she takes it in her hand & tells me she's gotta speak to her manager, so I follow her to the back but not the stock room, The manager said exchange. The clerk tells me as she walks to the mascaras that this particular 1 is marked $3.50. I didn't want the same brand as I'm Thinkin are all dried. So I explain that I'll get something different. I select 2, $1.00 & $2.50 mascara. The clerk goes to refund the original $3.50 mascara, Then rings up the $1.00 & the $2.00 mascara. She tells me that I owe.57 cents I tell her no I don't it is $ 3.50 for $3.50 even exchange. THIS CLERK 1 FEMALE & 1 MALE TELL ME THAT EVERY PRODUCT HAS A DIFFERENT TAX RATE. So here comes the manager dressed in sweat shorts & a t- shirt with the key around her wrist. She tells me same thing I refuse to pay the 57cents. So after trying her best to get the register to deduct the 57 cents she finally overrides the original price. THE problem was I DIDNT REMEMBER THE PRICE BUT APPARENTLY THE SHELF PRICE IS $3.50 THE REGISTER PRICE IS 50 CENTS CHEAPER. TO MAKE YOU THINK YOU GOT A BARGAIN. The Valentine candy was 1/2 price but all the leftover Valentine's stuff was on the bargain shelf with the candy and the sign . I don't think I'll be going back. Even if the 2 mascaras are dried up. Five Below is a dream come true for families living on a tight budget, they have good quality merchandise for $5.00 and some things are even less than that ,the toy selection vary from preteen to toddlers . Electronics to art and crafts, puzzle, coloring books ,pencils paints,markers to individualized each picture colored or picture drawn. They have PJ. Blankets , some clothing and shoes,makeup and shaving cream ,Books, and a huge selection of ear phone, chargers, charger cords the list goes on and on. The staff at Yukon Oklahoma on Czechall Road,are so friendly ,helpful and seem to enjoy their job. And for no bigger than the store is and as many people that go threw there the staff members keep the store very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this store. After having a “nationwide” pin pad problem at five below and waiting my whole Lunch break in line waiting. A gentleman said he would keep my stuff for me. I had totally forgot to come pick it up and called several times to make sure they wouldn’t sell my stuff and nobody would answer the phone at this location. They will put all different kinds of items on hold for people but resold my stuff. I don’t know what else I could do in this situation. Turn your phone lines off if NOBODY is going to answer the phone. It wouldn’t be such a big deal but five below has such limited stock that my items were already bought and I came back at 10:30 am.
