Điện Cần Chánh(Cần Chánh Palace) was one of the most important structures within the Huế Imperial City during the Nguyễn Dynasty. It served as the imperial throne room where the emperor conducted state affairs, hosted grand ceremonies, and received high-ranking officials and foreign envoys. It was a symbol of imperial power and authority. It was a center of political activity, where decisions affecting the entire nation were made.

Historical Events and Destruction: Unfortunately, Điện Cần Chánh was heavily damaged during the wars, particularly the Battle of Huế in 1968, and today only remnants of the original structure remain. Efforts have been made to restore parts of the palace, but much of its grandeur exists only in historical records and old photographs.
