A month ago I decided that I wanted to spend my 30th birthday on Phu Quoc island with my wife in this hotel and.. it was a GREAT choice! We had the most magical time. I highly recommend this hotel. This is definitely the highest quality. We also had the opportunity to stay in another hotel in Phu Quoc, which had similar reviews, but we ran away from it to come here a day earlier. The hotels had very similar ratings on various websites, but they were completely different. Salinda beats every competition! The rooms here are clean and well-kept. Every evening they are visited a second time by the staff who freshen the towels, ensure that everything is OK and bring you tea for sleep, or other treats. It's a really nice gesture and shows the class of the hotel. However, the highest quality is excellent service. We highly appreciated it every time - it's worth it! Everyone is helpful and smiling, which was improtant to us. You don't have to wait for anything - you are served immediately. Also, nothing was impossible - every modification we asked for was taken into account. The food is DELICIOUS. Excellent quality products, fresh and delicious seafood (we recommend lobster and tiger shrimp), as well as excellent drinks and freshly squeezed juices. I know you can eat outside of the hotel, but the quality served in the hotel can't be omitted. We have never eaten outside of the hotel - it was so good that we wanted to try everything in every restaurant!! We had the opportunity to sleep one day at Premium Deluxe Garden View (we escaped from the previous hotel and this one was the only free for 1 day), but we spent the entire week's stay at Garden Villa. Both rooms were very well-kept, but we recommend Garden Villa more - a huge bed, a large bathroom with 2 sinks and an iron are necessary amenities. Sleeping in such an apartment is a pleasure. This place has no flaws. Really, we haven't found any, and we are very picky customers. I would also like to thank especially Mrs. Hồng Hường, who took special care of us and made sure that the attractions we chose were prepared at the highest level. She is a fantastic, warm person. She never had a problem with our comments and met our expectations at 110%. We also highly recommend cooking lessons! They were so fantastic that we did it twice! Once for Vietnamese cuisine and other one for the Indian cuisine. Professionally prepared chefs, beautiful garden surroundings, and at the opportunity to watch the recording and photos from the lesson. A wonderful experience! Thank you very much to chefs Liladhar, Tam and Tan Anh for a lot of patience and great cooking lessons. You are the best! Of course, the entire crew also provided excellent service. We were very pleased when we were recognized and our choices and plans were remembered. Every single person was top class. Perfect resort. I recommend highly!!! You must visit this place while visiting Phu Quoc. Worth every dime. Thank you very much for your care, Salinda Family!!!

A truly unique hotel, you can say that, the park-like grounds are wonderful and the service at the highest level, also in terms of the amount of friendly staff, impressive. For us it was almost a bit "too much" to be courted like that, you definitely have to like it and the clientele is there accordingly, you have to know that. Prices on site are also "in a league of their own", a bottle of beer (0.33l Saigon Special) at the pool, including service charge almost VND 100,000, -, that's (outrageously) high, for a drink that is sold opposite in the market for 15,000 or in the evening in a good restaurant max. 25,000 costs, well, so also here 5*... Another small note: Smoking is rather undesirable. At the pool (on the lounger) and in the restaurant it is not allowed. There is a kind of smoking area at the entrance of the pool area. In the restaurant this is absolutely okay, but perhaps a more relaxed solution could be found for the pool area. After all, you are on vacation and would like to smoke a cigarette while relaxing on the loungers. Outside there are good possibilities to eat dinner, however, the prices are adjusted to the hotels located there. We were previously a bit further north, there were more authentic restaurants, which were also much cheaper, but it was also very busy. Our room, a garden villa was very high quality furnished with a huge and comfortable bed, totally crazy good and impressive. So, in the end, everything was world class, but a bit of grumbling at the highest level: The massive door to the bathroom could somehow not be opened/closed quietly and also the stop in the direction of the shower was unhappily solved, we did not like that. The safe is also strangely positioned, it was incredibly difficult to get to it, I have never had that before, but maybe I have also acted stupidly. Otherwise, the villa was generously sized, luxurious, but the garden seemed really very unkempt, no nice lawn, not mowed and also the plants could use some care, that somehow does not fit together and should definitely be improved. In addition, the air jammed there, which was partly very unpleasant. The breakfast is suitably on premium level, not more than in other good hotels, but the highest quality ingredients, super presented and including piano plus sparkling wine. Conclusion: great hotel, highly recommended, everything very luxurious and great attentions to the honeymoon, thank you very much! If there would be "beachfront pool villas" or similar here, it would probably be one of the most perfect hotels in the world. So everything takes place at the (salt water) pool or on the (nice) beach...

We stayed here for a whole week. There are several points where Salinda stands out compared to other 5 stars resort hotels. The first one is the service staff. It doesn't matter to what kind of staff you speak to (managers, kitchen chefs, cleaning staff, etc.), all are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. This gives us continuously the feeling that we are really welcomed as hotel guests. Also the condition of the building, equipment and services stands out. The garden and pool is clean and well maintained. Room equipment and services are good. They provide Nespresso capsul coffee, TWG tea and bottles of water in room for free. Twice a day staff will come and refill. Sometimes staff leaves some good night sweets, good night teas or other small gifts in your room. I had earlier the week some negative experiences but were resolved very quickly: 1.the gym is not very clean. It seems like that the gym is not very often used. The equipment is a bit dusty and dirty. Towels went out one time and were not refill over night. The next day I needed to make the staff aware about this. 2. Closing of their Indian restaurant due to 3 months vacation of the Indian executive kitchen chef without any notice on their homepage. When we booked Salinda, it was known to us that the Indian executive chef won prices to be the best Indian chef in whole Vietnam. As lovers of the Indian cuisine we expected some culinary evenings at Salinda. But at arrival we were informed that the chef went on a 3 months holiday leave. Salinda kindly offered us that the sous chef Tam could make an Indian menu for us which we happily accepted. I ate a perfect lamb vindaloo. Starter and dessert were great, too. 3. the noise level. As for a resort hotel we expected to relax the whole day, enjoy the Spa and comfortably eat breakfast and dinner. This was very difficult in the first half of the week. There were too many noisy hotel guests. Guests with their children started to scream in the morning. It was difficult to continue to sleep. During breakfast large group of guests started with the help of the staff to move tables and chairs around because they wanted to sit together. The noise level was so high that the nice piano music was hardly to be heard. Salinda moved our room to another location and the noise level got better. All in all it was especially the staff which made our stay very pleasant. We decided to come to Salinda again.

"My husband and I cannot stop talking about how wonderful our stay was at the Salinda Resort. From the moment we arrived at the airport in Phu Quoc, the driver from Salinda was waiting to escort us to the resort. He was easy to spot with the purple sign with our names, and very friendly and professional. Once we arrived, the staff greeted us with smiles, showing us through the beautiful lobby into the ballroom for an assortment of delicious and refreshing fruit drinks. We were shown to our...

I would like to thank you Salinda and everyone there for "little miracles" making a complete holiday for my family.

Same as in my first time here, the warm and heartfelt welcome of both management and staff here is so noticeable and sincere which you don't see much in anywhere.

My first impression returning here after 2 yrs is a whole green and cool atmosphere with lots of plants, grass, flowers and water. Long winding patches of violet flowers, while blossoms standing out of the very...
