I cannot fathom the ranking this place has. We came here after other places were full and because of the high rating.
The place only had two people serving for multiple tables, inside and outside. Service was slow and needed to constantly be reminded of our existence.
We ordered vegetable soup, salad, and ‘traditional chicken’.
Salad arrived in a gigantic plate, but if there was not even half a tomato and 1/4 of a cucumber in it. Theoretically it should have pomegranate, but i found 3 seeds of it in total.
We finished the salad in 1 minute and got our veggie ‘soup’. It was liquidy and somehow tasted like instant coffee. It needed a lot of salt and lemon juice. Im not sure there was any veggie in it apart from floating parsleys.
After waiting for a very long time, the chicken arrived. It was bitter because it burned, but it wasnt that bad and taste was ok. It had zero garnish in it though.
Overall we left disappointed at the very slow service, terrible meal portions, and subpar taste.

Read moreWe found Makamona randomly walking along the street and chose it as it was down a quiet side street. The decor is Greek island style.
We opted for the set menu of traditional fare. It came in the shape of a shared platter. The young waiter suggested that we could also add a meat dish off the menu, Lamb, Lamb liver or Chicken. As my husband does not eat Lamb we went with the Chicken but the waiter soon returned to inform us there was no chicken. We asked for a basket of bread which went very well with the various spreads, cheeses and meats.
So we decided not to go for the alternative.
The food was very good with some very tasty elements.
We also went for a full carafe of the white House Wine. When it arrived it was a half carafe as they had run out of it. We saw other tables being informed but they were offered a bottle of another white…we would have preferred that offer.
A nearby table of six, two adults and four teenagers had a veritable feast of seafood and they were very happy with their...
Read moreI recently dined at this charming fish and pasta restaurant, and the food was absolutely tasty! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. One of the standout moments was when a friendly server went above and beyond to assist with shelling a crab for us—such a thoughtful gesture. He was genuinely nice and kind, taking the time to help us navigate the menu and recommending some of the restaurant’s specials, which turned out to be delightful choices. The location itself is a bit tucked away on a back street, so it might take some effort to find if you’re not familiar with the area. Don’t expect a vivid view or striking sightseeing opportunities outside, as the surroundings are fairly understated. However, once you step inside, the inner decor creates a pleasant and cozy atmosphere that more than makes up for it. Overall, the delicious food and warm, attentive service made this a memorable spot—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone craving seafood and...
