We have just had another incredible family skiing holiday at Hotel Monzabon in January 2025. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of exceptional.||||Melanie and her family, and the rest of the hotel staff always make the experience very special and are so welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure we are comfortable, especially traveling with our baby granddaughter. Their attention to detail is remarkable, and we truly appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere at the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble, and the Monzabon team always offer help to organise whatever we wanted to do, whether this be airport transfers, fresh milk daily for morning tea in the room, lift passes, restaurant bookings, or special family surprises…a horse drawn sleigh ride to Zug, complete with champagne and chocolates!||||Breakfasts (probably my favourite meal of the day) are absolutely delicious, with a vast buffet and wide variety of options, as well as cooked items if desired, to fuel us for a day on the slopes. Afternoon tea was a lovely touch - the perfect way to unwind after skiing. Dinner was a highlight with superb quality of ingredients, beautifully delivered by the team, together with exceptional wine recommendations from Tobias. The dining experience at the hotel is always a great part of a truly special trip.||||The location of the Monzabon is ideal – just a short distance from the ski lifts, making it so convenient for the whole family. After a day of skiing, we loved relaxing in the cozy surroundings of the hotel, and the wellness spa facilities…pool, steam room and sauna…were a great way to unwind.||||We have stayed at Monzabon a number of times over the last 10 years, and overall, Melanie and her family and the whole Monzabon team always provide us with everything we could want for a family skiing holiday. Fabulous food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting – we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. ||||We love the Monzabon and are already planning our next visit; we would recommend highly to anyone looking for a top-tier family...

Our stay at the Hotel Jagdhaus Monzabon beyond exceeded our expectations. The hotel was immaculate, the staff was incredible and the views were to die for. We stayed for 5 days in mid-February and wouldn’t change a thing. We were greeted on our arrival by the owner Melanie who was perhaps the nicest person I’ve ever met. Then we checked in to our room with a view that can only be compared to that of a postcard. An incredible breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are all included in your stay and I would absolutely recommend the half board to have your dinners at the hotel as well. The in house chef is a genius and the four-five course meal was incredible every night. (PS - ALWAYS have the soup. Day or night the soup was the best I’ve ever had. Never skip the soup.) Located right at the bottom of one of the ski runs in Lech, the locker room at Monzabon was a total of 15 steps (we counted) to the 2 and 4 persons gondolas to start your day with. The staff at Monzabon were so helpful, personable and kind at every meal or in the hallway and would go above and beyond to help with any question or request you could possible have. Tobias, the in house sommelier was always around to suggest a wine pairing, curate a cocktail and see that everything was taken care of. Melanie checked in on a daily basis as if we were a part of her family to make sure we had everything we needed and our trip was all we thought it would be. If you’re planning a winter vacation (skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking or relaxing) the Hotel Jagdhaus Monzabon in Lech is the place to go. There are shops and restaurants all within meters of their front door but you truly will have everything you need right in the hotel. Thank you to Melanie, Wilfried, Tobias, Katarina, and the rest of the staff at Monzabon for making our first trip to Austria more memorable than we thought it could be. We hope to be back one day soon and can’t wait to stay...

Our family recently spent a week skiing in Arlberg, and our stay at Monzabon was exceptional. This beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained hotel, owned and operated by the Schneider family, combines luxury with genuine hospitality. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the elegant decor to the impeccable service. What truly sets Monzabon apart is the Schneider family's personal touch. They don't just run a hotel – they welcome you into their home. The high-quality dining was a daily highlight, with the attentive staff consistently providing outstanding service. The staff's thoughtfulness extends beyond the usual hotel services. When they learned about our planned day trip to Vaduz, Melanie proactively sent an email with city information and curated recommendations for interesting places to visit. Even after check-out, their exceptional service continued. When we accidentally left our passports in the room safe and only discovered this after reaching Kitzbühel, Melanie quickly located them and had them mailed immediately to ensure we received them before our next flight – a gesture they graciously provided at no extra cost. Having stayed at many hotels across the Alps over the past three years, we can confidently say that Monzabon stands out as our favorite. It's more than just a hotel; it's a place where luxury meets genuine care, and where every guest is treated...
