We were surprised to find that there was no entry on Tripadvisor for this hotel. Perhaps that is why we managed to get accomodation there over the Christmas period, when every other hotel in Lech seemed to be fully booked up. But what a find! The Bianca is a small family-run hotel and they were able to accomodate our party's request for two double rooms - one for nine nights and the other for five.||There are 13 rooms. 12 are spacious double rooms and one is a smaller double/single room. We appreciated the larger rooms, which contained a sofa, a writing table and chairs and lots of storage space. For once there were more drawers and shelves than we needed. There was also a good area with hooks for hanging outdoor clothes - important in a skiing and hiking area. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bathroom, which contained a tub bath with shower, was modern and attractive. Our son and his wife were out skiing every day, but my husband and I, being rather older, enjoyed watching the action. For us it was very pleasant to be able to return and rest in a large room with a flat screen television.||During the winter season the rate is half-board, with a good buffet breakfast and a four course dinner. The Dinner also had a salad bar at the start and a cheese board at the end, so it really was a six course meal. The dinner was always a set menu, but it was different every night and we enjoyed everything. Only on one night of the week (Wednesday) is dinner not included. During the summer season (July and August) the rate is bed and breakfast only.||The situation of the hotel is idea - only a few minutes walk from the centre of Lech, the bus stops and ski lifts and gondolas. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to...
Read moreIt is really a pity what has become of this family owned pension.||After having stayed there for more than 10 years, on average twice a year, we have been extremely disappointed of what has become of this pension hotel. The hotel has changed its formula and staff this ski season. They used to serve dinner 6 days a week by a professional cook, now only serve meals three nights a week. However, this could be just as well. What has really changed is that the Pension is now under a different leadership. The staff is really below standards, the rooms are not clean, and the new management is falling short in every way. After we confronted them with some of the problems we encountered in a friendly way, for example the fact that the breads weren't fresh, and after I confronted them with the fact that I had a problem with the fact that they invoiced the dinners at a much higher price than what was confirmed in writing upon the booking, they told me we should attend a different hotel in the future. After having been a loyale house guest for more than 10 years, we were obviously shocked. But we will certainly follow...
Read moreMy wife and I recently travelled from Australia to Lech via Switzerland and stayed at Pension Bianca and found it to be a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we arrived (and even prior to our arrival) we found the hosts to be friendly and helpful with nothing a problem for them.||The rooms are large and comfortable and the food is to die for. Fine dining every night with a fantastic variety of food. My wife especially loved the cheese buffet!!||The location is convenient to the centre of town with lifts easy to access.||I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment and encourage you to try...
