Hotel Kristall — Hotel in Gemeinde Lech

This superb little hotel is located about 50 meters away from the gondola (Bergbahnen Oberlech) to Oberlech and its ski runs and approximately 100 meters away from the hotels and bars offering great Après! Having never been to Lech previously, before we arrived on the Arlberg Express from Zurich (and unknown to us) rang ahead and contacted the owner/manager (Richard) of the hotel who was there to meet us on our arrival to drive us the short distance to the hotel. The initial welcoming impression of the foyer and reception continued to the rest of the hotel including our Classic Double room which was traditionally clad in Austrian pine panelling but in a bright, crisp and contemporary way. The bathroom with bath was also clean and new.||||Breakfast was traditional Austrian style with a selection of breads, cheeses and cold meats with cereals and yoghurts if you wanted. The staff were lovely and more than happy to serve you with eggs (soft boiled, scrambled, fried etc.) if requested and the day we left they put breakfast on earlier so we had something to eat before Richard took us back to our transfer coach.||||The hotel is up a small hill opposite the Bergbahnen Oberlech which wasn’t the end of the world for us but on the second day we discovered that The Burg hotel ski rental shop in Oberlech rent ski lockers for €9 per day which will accommodate 4 people. The lockers and locker room are modern, heated and programmed to your ski pass which you swipe to gain access. This effectively made our holiday ski in/ski out – result! So at the end of a days skiing we dropped all our ski gear in our locker, walked to the gondola via the tunnel system connecting (nearly) all the hotels to the gondola went down to Lech and enjoyed après with no skis, poles and boots to hinder your partying!! ||||We thoroughly enjoyed Lech and the huge amount of ski runs the Arlberg ski pass offers you, so much so we are already talking about going back next year – something we...

A very pleasant surprise!|We came here and immediately were given the warmest treatment we could think of.|Every request was answered with a smile and always possible. Arriving in the middle of the night after a delay in our flight? No problem, your room will be ready for you and a key left out side, we will have enough time to settle things later on after you have a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast.|Need a car parking place? No problem, a reserved car park is already being reserved for you.|We came during January very cold weather period and received plenty of help and advises from clothing to fueling recommendations etc. |The hotel is centrally located and very nice. It is very clean and spacious.|No elevator though if you are staying on the 3rd floor but nothing to be worried about.|Nice ski room. Nice breakfast. Hemos estado alojados en el hotel Kristall durante 6 noches y hemos estado realmente a gusto..||Es un hotel pequeñito pero con todas las comodidades que cualquier hotel de 4* te puede ofrecer, los dueños se desviven para q durante tu estancia estés lo más cómodo posible.||Nos alojamos en una suite (150€) alojamiento y desayuno, la habitación y el baño estaba impecable, con amplio balcon con vistas a la montaña, camas muy cómodas y con un montón de espacio y armarios para estar realmente confortable.||||Esta muy bien situado justo a 3 minutos del huevo q te sube a las pistas y a 5 minutos de los telesillas principales de la estación.||Esta justo al lado de la iglesia q sale en todas las fotos.||Los desayunos están muy bien ( zumos, cereales, diferentes panes, quesos, embutidos y luego te cocinan huevos a tu elección). No sirven cena, pero justo al lado hay un restaurante italiano ( enzo) que por 15-20 € cenas fenomenal y si quieres tomar la típica raclette al lado también tienes una tiendecita de productos típicos (speck&kasekeller) con un salón donde por 19€ la señora te sirve una rica raclette .||Otro restaurante q nos gustó mucho fue ( HAUS N 8) esta opción un poco más cara 35-45€ pero con mucho encanto y muy ambientado, eso sí recomiendo reservar antes de viajar en ese restaurante.)||Si viajas desde el aeropuerto de zurich recomiendo coger el bus (arlberg express),160€ ida/vuelta en menos de 3 horas estas en el hotel y no tienes q preocuparte de nada más, te deja a 3 minutos del hotel. ( nosotros llegamos de noche y cogimos un taxi pensando q estaba más lejos y luego se nos quedo cara de tontos cuando vimos que el hotel estaba a 1 minuto en coche....y que nos podíamos haber ahorrado los 12€,...) el día de vuelta, el dueño nos acercó a la parada)||Toda la estación esta genial comunicada por autobuses gratuitos q te llevan cada 5-10 minutos a todas partes). Tienes la parada del autobús justo debajo del hotel.||El pueblo es precioso, de postal y las instalaciones en las pisas son increíbles, telesillas de 8 personas, con asientos con calefacción y tapados para q no pases frío! Un lujo! Los restaurantes en pistas son auténticos chalets, con todos los lujos.||San Antón esta a 20 minutos en el mismo bus gratuito, sirve el mismo forfait recomiendo combinar los días de esquí en las 2 estaciones.||En resumen hemos venido encantados de la estación, y el hotel Kristall es una opción muy buena si quieres esquiar en Lech a un||Precio más...
