tl;dr: Wouldn't stay there again. Sewage smell at bathroom, attempts to charge undue consumption fees, weird power outlets and old appliances. Just 2 fruit options, machine coffee and stale bread at breakfast. It is reasonably well decorated, clean and has good location though.
Apart from the people working at the reception and restaurant during the morning shift, I did not feel welcome at this hotel. Several fellow guests had complaints about undue consumption fees during checkout, so I wasn't surprised when they wanted to charge me 19 bucks for a coffee - which the manager herself insisted was fair despite the lack of any indication that coffee straight out of a self-service machine (yup, not even an espresso) was not a courtesy but rather paid for. After I made it clear that I would file an official complaint if I had to pay for that, they cancelled it. Needless to say, it was a very stressful way to start my day and a very bad last memory to have of that place.
The restaurant dishes for lunch and dinner are quite expensive but good - I would still go somewhere else though, as the region has several good options for eating out at that same price tag and much better service.

Read moreOverall a simple basic hotel well located for a good price. Unfortunately when we landed in sao paolo our baggage didnt arrive, so we had to wait for it until the next day anticipating when it would arrive. Comfort hotel were more than accommodating helping us make phone calls to the airline and extending our check out time so that when the bags finally did arrive the next day we could shower and freshen up before the next flight.||In terms of location, it is a nice safe area which is a few minutes from lots of restaurants and a large Ibifera shopping mall. There is a small swimming pool on the roof but we didn't use this and a tiny gym (only 2 treadmills) but again we didn't need these facilities anyway. The wifi was good and fast which was great as we could use the internet seamlessly.||The breakfast in the morning had a range of options-all basic but nonetheless enough to get you started for the day. There was a choice of cereals, bread, cheese, meats and scrambled eggs along with coffee and tea. The room size was a decent size with basic toiletries provided-soap and shampoo.||Overall a good stay for the price and perfect for a layover in Sao Paolo -close to...
Read moreStayed here for business as was attending an Expo at the Sao Paulo EXPO centre.||The location is great for the Expo and also very close to Congonhas airport - around 15 mins in a taxi. It's not close to the centre of town. If you are staying here and arriving early morning at the Guarulhos airport then you could be in for a 2.5 hour taxi ride like i experienced. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the price is OK. The double room I booked was very spacious and had everything you would need. It was cleaned to a very good standard every day. The Wi-Fi connection in the room was good and stable, used it daily for video calls. The rooftop pool was nice and the Wi-Fi worked up there as well. I think the only thing that could be improved was the breakfast which was a bit limited. Enough fruit, but too many cakes and not enough choice of hot breakfast options. The area itself seemed reasonably safe enough to walk around. I stayed on the top floor which was quite peaceful, the lower floors might suffer from traffic noise. Allow plenty of time if travelling anywhere by taxi as the traffic in Sao Paulo is horrendous at rush hour and...
