We got the train down for a two night stay. Plovdiv itself is a lovely city, some fantastic history, friendly people and great food. It is a real gem. ||We booked into this place as there wasn’t much choice. It was a little more than we were prepared to stay but very much worth it. The location was near the old town and lots of trendy little bars and eating places. ||The room itself was wonderful, very extravagant decor but somehow it worked. There was a little sitting room and an nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly. ||One minor annoyance was that the room was baking, we turned off the heater and opened the window but as we were a block a way from the main road it was very noisy at night. Bulgarians seem to be obsessed with overheating rooms! I wasn’t a fan of the brown bedsheets and towels. ||The guest houses doesn’t do breakfast but there are loads of places near by... unless it is a Sunday. Don’t expect anywhere to be open before 10am or maybe even 11am. ||A good choice, we would...

Luxury rooms and elegant furnitures. Excellent decoration. Big and comfortable bed. Big TV with 300 channels. Great view to the Old Plovdiv. Very clean hotel. Daily cleaning and housekeeping. No trace of cigarette smoke. Excellent shower and free toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, shower gel, shampoo, hair cream, emulsifiers, soap, shower cap, and bottled water. Perfect location in Kapana, the center of the centers of Plovdiv. Next to a non-stop mini market and to the Turkish Cafeteria. Very close to the Old Plovdiv, the Ancient Theater, the Roman Stadium, and the central street of Plovdiv, "Glavna". Manual handling Air Conditioning. Free WiFi without any problems. Free parking.
