It is a very cozy and nice place and more plant-based restaurants are always welcome and in my heart, the service was great and everything was great except the food - the quality/quantity and price ratio was sort of mediocre, prices were higher than normal and the food was not perfect nor plentiful (although I am 190 cm 95kg, so for less tall and less weighing people might be good portions). Some dishes were unique and good, while others were simple. The restaurant follows a more green/vegan taste vibe rather than trying to imitate animal products which is fine, however some dishes have a very distinct green taste which you will either love or dislike. Most of the food is healthy, but having been to way more advanced unique veganised/vegan friendly restaurants like Rosehip or Radharanė in Vilnius, this feels like a generic vegan restaurant with not much innovation or something new to try, most dishes are just simple and kinda high in price, would love to see an innovation in the menu. Maybe Bulgaria is farther away in vegan revolution, but for now this is the best we found and it is not good compared to mentioned restaurants in Vilnius or elsewhere. Best of...
Read moreDidn't eat here not because I didn't want but because I was appalled at the lack of customer service and general decency of the team member I interacted with. I walked in alone at first and attempted to sit at an indoor two top table while waiting for my girlfriend to arrive. I was immediately told that no one could sit inside due to the pandemic (valid). I was then told that the outdoor seating was all taken and the upstairs seating was all reserved; therefore i could "order food and go elsewhere". I walked out to meet my girlfriend and when we walked in together, there were two people sitting at the same table that I had initially attempted to sit at without any issues. Upon seeing my girlfriend (white Caucasian) we were told by the staff that we could, in fact, sit upstairs. I was astounded at this rapid contrast in seating options based merely on the fact that I was now in the company of my Caucasian partner. If this is still happening in 2020, this establishment won't last much longer and...
Read moreI come to Plovdiv once a year for quite a while now and I‘ve been to many restaurants in town (eating a lot of always the same meat in different colors). But this little treasure is one of the best restaurants I‘ve been to so far (in total!). The food ist unbelievably fresh and delicious, the menu is big enough for every taste - people are friendly and superquick.
If you walk by - STOP - give it a try, even if it seems empty between the other restaurants - it’s definitely not a quality issue. And even if you really like meat a lot, you can go for a burger or some „chicken“. I can personally recommend the basmati rice with saffron and cashew (yes, it’s basically just rice - but hell yeah I love it!)
Well, that’s maybe my first positive recommendation on google - but they...
